I think Caroline looked great both at the gala dinner and the church, she made the effort with her hair and makeup and her outfits were on the unclassic side, but only she could pull them off, at least she makes fashion outings interesting:sun::sun::sun:

Like the two tiaras worn together during the dinner, the embellishments in her day-time outfit were too much for me. But she is still very beautiful and chic -- and she carried it off because of who she is. Some people will always be style icons, no matter what they wear. To be her age and look like that -- despite sun, booze and nicotene 'damage' -- I think she looks damn fine. It was a bit sad to see her all alone though... I wish she had taken one of her sons along as an escort.

I do love the Chanel dress, it can be worn by an older person or a young girl, it suits her very well and it is very modern and classic, I love the colour and the shape! IT was my favorite dress.

I love the day time dress, beige with beading (Chanel?). The beading was absolutely beautiful and I loved how it appeared to be a short jacket over a dress (perhaps it was). The colour was soft and nice.

Her hat wasn't as complimenting. It made her long face appear even longer. Evidently pillbox hats aren't the best shapes for her, unless perhaps worn very deep down on the forehead.

Princess Caroline during the National Day celebrations in Monaco today, November 19, looking good in a female suit that could once more be from Chanel:

The unflattering cut of the Chanel suit with its horizontal emphasis on the hips widens Caroline's hips more than I thought possible on such a svelte woman; with messy hair and a not very pretty hat sitting rather too high on top of it, this is not exactly one of Caroline's better looks.

The hat is quite strange, i agree. But, in the overall, i think she looks ok! :flowers:

Yep yep yep! Strange cut!

This will be the first time in MY WHOLE LIFE I have said .. I am glad I don't own that Chanel piece... it doesn't look good on her at all and the hat is very oddly placed.IMO

I think she looks great. She is so slim, gotten too slim imo, that the pattern and texture and even the horizontal line add some pounds which look good. Love the delicate fabric at cuffs and hips and it's color too which are followed through in the perfect gloves. Also like the pink in the fabric which she picks up in her earrings.

I really like Caroline's suit. It is very elegant yet with unexpected and original details. Innovative and chic.

Hasn't Stepanie worn hers before? It looks familiar. Unless it is an old dress from Caroline?

Caroline always looks so regal at the National Day events.
I didn't like the ruffles on her Chanel suit though.
And I think she should start to wear gala dresses with sleeves, at least when she wears long gloves, it emphasises to much her aging upper arms: pic

The chanel suit looks better on the model because the grey bow from the blouse balances out the look. Caroline is not wearing the grey blouse and her hat is black. The model has some sort of grey type hair band/hat on her head. Caroline in my opinion looks really drab in this version...

Love the two outfits and jewels. Her hair is doing her no favors these days, it's too dark and plain.

Well indeed one nice and one interesting ... but somehow the more I look at the long coat it grows on me !!! but agree hair is too dark and unkempt but I love both pairs of earrings.

Princess Caroline at this year's Rose Ball, March 23, by far the best outfit in my eyes (compared to Charlene's and Charlotte's), the jacket and top are really nice:

I wasn't too keen when I saw the first pic - mainly because at a glance it appeared to be another monochrome number, but the close-up of the top half reveal it is a very attractive jacket and top with a lovely pendant. However, I think the hairstyle could be a little softer with a few hi-lights perhaps.

I am not sure about her over all look. Her skin is glowing (the picture of a glowing granny) but I don't like her hair in that style. And if I'm honest I haven't been crazy about her evening wear for the past few years.

I love the top part, the jacket and blouse...but the sheath of the dress doesn't look right. There's something off about it.

Compared to Charlotte and Charlene's ,Princess Caroline is the best dressed of the trio!

I agree with you, Pranter. And her hair is like old-fashioned.
Caroline has lost the glamour she used to have in the 80s and 90s.

" its Mumsy - or maybe its Grand-Mumsy "

" The outfit is ok, but boring. And as a happy grandmother she could have used a little more joyous colours. "

I so agree with you both Cepe and Lady Fynn... I mean considering the awful rags she already wore in the past, this year P. Caroline looks discrete and respectable. But it would have been nice to see her wearing something vaporous and colourful...
