I don't remember these outfits either. Thanks for the pictures. This dress seems to have been made for her when she became more confident because the dress is not as flashy as her earlier pieces. I think she looked the best with simpler looks because it allowed her to be the focus.

The photos are of different events, same outfit. I agree with you- simple outfits worked best for Diana. And you are right, this outfit was worn in later years, when she had more confidence.
