My mother found a pattern for the koala sweater in a ladies magazine and ordered then had a neighbor knit it for me. It was a surprise and I wore it a lot and had a lot of compliments. I still have it and no way will I ever give it away.

After reviewing alot of these photos, it occured to me that Diana seemed to wear more hats than most Royals do today Do you think it was just more fashionably popular in the 1980's and 1990's than wearing daytime hats are today??

I believe it was. Although for the '80s and '90s,the amount of hats Diana wore was way more than ordinary people wore, as the RF wore more hats than ordinary people would.

Yes, I personally think so and its a pity. But its a pity that "commoners" don't wear hats anymore too, isn't it? But I have a feeling that there could be a comeback soon.

Yes red does look so royal on Diana, and I prefer the reds with a slightly orange tone one her. However, I still favor the Princess in pink- hard to beat on her.
I'm glad you all agree about the hats being more popular in yester year- maybe they will return in popularity amoungst royals...

I like the first pic of the exhibition of Diana in Althorp House, and I love the "lady Dior,"the bag of Dior called in her name.It is a classic like "The kelly bag" Of Hermes ,called kelly due to Grace Kelly
