The dress is lovely shade of green. The scalloped edge is much needed, adds an interest to an otherwise simple look :flowers:

I don't find it too short. As long as she is sitting like a lady, she isn't inappropriate or flashing anything.

Actually, I really like the look. Her hair and makeup is lovely and she seems to understand that people like to see her jewellery and those earrings are really interesting. But, the piece de resistance is the shoes! They are perfect.

Her ensemble is smart but not boring, or worse, matronly which was one of her worst faults. Probably being the baby in a large, very religious family and not being a very "social" creature when single.

It has been fun watching her grow into her position. She was always immaculately dressed and her hair, makeup and jewellery were really good, but the overall look was . . . I was going to say "middle-aged" and then I thought, good grief she dresses older than Maria Terese.

Just look how far she's come!

Nice colour and hairstyle but I do agree the dress was a tad too short.

A nice black outfit, and i like her hair!

It feels odd to critique fashion for an All Souls Day Mass, but black is universally flattering.

Both Guillaume and Stephanie appear to have lost weight.

She's appropriately dressed for All Souls Day and she looks nice ..not much more she could do.

:previous:I don’t think black is universally flattering. For many, the color is,very draining to the skin color, not for Stephanie. I agree they both look slimmer.

Stephanie looks lovely. Very flattering look. Beautiful hair :flowers:

Nice hair for Nov 7th events.
Like the pink top under the black for the Salon 2017 CAL visit. The blazer appears to have some fussy ties or odd closure. Wide-legged slacks again.
Undecided on the outfit at the concert for EME Foundation. Could be a dress or top + black slacks.

More of November 10th's Edward Steichen Award Ceremony from RTL. Pretty appearance although I prefer the updo and shoes from last year.

Maroon dress looks very nice on her and fits better than last year

Maroon dress is lovely. I even love the flower detail.:flowers:

Definitely fits better this time. Helps a whole lot.

:previous: If memory serves, Stephanie wore that same apple green evening gown to the wedding night dinner/gala of Archduke Christoph (Guillaume's cousin) and his bride Adelaide in December 2011.

However she is wearing and accessorizing it much better this time around.;)

She looks lovely...I'd like to see more pop with the jewelry though. This dress can handle it.

The dress is ok but it’s not an especially attractive shade of green and it kind of washes her out.

Love the style of the dress, the color is okay but not great. And I agree, bigger jewels (necklace) would have been wonderful with this dress. All in all, she looks wonderful though.

The style really suits her. A larger necklace would have added a little something, but over-all, very nice.

Beautiful dress, but I agree that the color washes her out a bit, and a larger necklace would be nice. I like the wider straps a lot.

She looks lovely and the dress is beautiful. I prefer without bigger jewels, just keeping it simple.

They were married in 2012, but yes, it is the same gown (to my eyes). I agree that it all looks much better this time around.

As she has become comfortable being central in the public eye, she is starting to push her limits. I thought the ensemble and jewellery she wore for the gala before her wedding was quite spectacular but that was semi-private and she was mixing with people she knew and also those of an age group she was used to interacting with.

Now instead of being 'sedate', she seems almost serene and comfortable in her own skin. Her wardrobe reflects her social growth and personal style. In the green gown, she looks really lovely and I would go so far as to say she looks good in green. As per usual her hair makeup and jewellery are right on target but, the most striking thing is . . . she seems to have lost her security blankets aka wraps, pashminas. etc.

Beautiful gown. Fits her perfectly, and the color is lovely :flowers:

Her hair as always looks fantastic. The jewelry is minimal but perfect for her.

I like the green color and the bodice’s wrap effect although I wish the straps weren't so wide. On my monitor, the green doesn't wash her out.

Although a wrap covered much of the dress in 2012, the green looks brighter.

Stephanie hasn't lost her wraps, pashminas, etc. Perhaps now she only carries them when she needs too (i.e. - short skirt or needing another layer for warmth). I don't mind scarves/wraps as they're useful. Sometimes Stephanie could carry them better though.

This wrap on Sep 26 came loose and looks sloppy. Of course, it could have just been bad photo timing or something.

She had a wrap for the gala dinner in Spain.

Maria Teresa also carries wraps/scarves although hers seems smaller.

:previous: Because for the most part MT's are actual scarves. Stephanie's are usually wraps, so they are larger as they are worn instead of a coat.

Its a nice gown and colour on Stephanie but it needed a better necklace or a brooch.

The gown is very nice and fits well but the hair isn’t good. She looks better with side parted hair
