The look with the coat on looks good but with the coat off is odd. I agree the top should be shorter.
But what I hate about her is the cut of her pants, they always look loose and don't fit her at all.

I like the outfit with the coat and I agree that the tunic top is too long and too intense a color for her; it overwhelms her. And the cut of the pants could be bettered tailored.

Good point, the clothes are overwhelming her, so is her hair.

Love the winter white coat. Hate the ill-fitting pants.
Also it had been raining earlier, and that caused her super fine hair to go limp in the photos.

Yes, it is a nice winter coat, can't really see the pants . . . but what I definitely disliked was the color of the tunic on her It seems the visit did not call for a very sophisticated look, it might take a little while for her to find a good style Hope Grand Dutchess MT is giving her some pointers . . .

I love Stephanie, but she needs to hire a good gay stylist to march in and chuck out everything in her closet except for the Saab gown worn the night before her wedding.
It must be done.

The tunic was cute and is very European boho trendy.
IMO she's doing just fine but people have her pegged as a bad dresser.

I agree, because either she does not live up to people's fashion expectations or she doesn't follow other princesses' fashion "examples".
IMO Stéphanie, however demure in appearance, is a very strong woman who holds her own preferences and style of fashion. Good for her.

She reminds me of an early Princess Mathilde.

It's not that I don't think Stephanie is living up to my fashion expectations, I just think that in this outfit, she's overwhelmed by her clothing. No disparagement is meant otherwise; neither is any comparison being made to other examples of princess fashion. I think she can refine her style a bit better, that's all, which will come in time.

Exactly. She has found herself in front of the camera. That is going to accentuate ill-fitting and badly tailored clothes. And hairstyles that don't hold up well in her new life.

I am looking forward to her being able to walk more like a lady and less like John Wayne after a long day in the saddle.

Long straggly hair is not too good. Hair has no body. Possibly she should wear it up, or pulled back in the manner of Princess Victoria of Sweden. She is a practical woman and doesn't spend hours on her hair style every morning, before pictures, so she perhaps should wear the hair some other way than in two rivulets on either side of her chest.
Princess Kate, even with her hair having so much body, didn't look too great when her hair was worn this way. It's only appropriate for a very young teenager, and I don't even like it on a teen. Her sometimes baggy clothes would not look so bad if she did something better with her hair.
I don't understand why her pants can't be better tailored so as to eliminate some of the bagginess. Does she even have a tailor? I think probably not.

I love Stephanie but she needs to work a little more on her outfits. Of course, a person should be judged by his/her works, rather than fashion choices. However, one's sartorial choices are unfortunately the first things that get noticed - and Stephanie's lack elegance or chic.

My main problem with Stephanie is how ill tailored her pants are. They always look so bad.
Apart from it, I don't think she dresses badly

She is a lovely woman, her clothes do need to be tailored though. They never fit properly.

Her look will evolve but at the moment it is not great some of the outfits the sleeves were too long so lots more attention is needed and she needs to do something with the hair. IMO

Perhaps Stephanie just needs time to come into her own in terms of style. I like the fact that she dresses on the conservative and modest side, however.
