A stylist to make an otherwise perfectly attired gentleman, like Joachim, look effortlessly casual?

Of course, that's logic!
The thought hadn't occurred to me. ?

Brought to you by the same company that brought you coal to Newcastle.

Is that the same company that sell sand to the Arabic countries? ;)

(BTW. We actually do export sand to Arabian countries.)

A colourful mix of patterns for King Philippe today - at least the colours are matching..;)

An interesting outfit for King Philippe today - I like the colours and patterns and actually don't mind them mixed together. However, from personal experience, the colours are quite light for someone with his hair colour - seems to wash him out a little.

Nonetheless, bravo for his boldness!

Why is he wearing a music hall comedians outfit?

All we need is to hear him cracking jokes with a Cockney accent.

The tartan stripes are meant to accentuate the jacket not the other way around. :argh:
The tie. The only justification for wearing such a tie off stage, is if it was presented to you by your eight year old daughter or grandchild. :argh::argh:
But the worst bit is his watch. A yellowish strap to what appears to be a wrist-stopwatch?!?
There may be faraway galaxies where that is considered masculine, but not in the general vicinity of the Milky Way. :argh::argh::argh:

Presumably he is wearing sandals and jogging-pants under the table?

I suggest we make a pact. We pledge to forget about this outfit and never mention it again.

Perhaps an example of where co=ordinated colours do not always work. For a jacket that busy, IMO, a more plain tie would have been better suited.

Yes, indeed. My first reaction when I saw the photo was Eek!
I do like the tie. I do like the jacket. But they don't match at all.
And the watch? Maybe he had been running and changed quickly.
And no Mathilde or Elisabeth around. (Dad you can't wear that!),

The Philippe outfits from the last two days look exactly like what my elderly father-in-law and his golf buddies wear at the country club on Saturday night.

Philippe no words for today, patterns are not for him....yesterday was worse the colors

Never been too keen on Frederik. He looks good in more casual, like his turtleneck look from the birthday photo. The suit he looks stuffy to me.

Philippe.....pick a pattern and go with it. And by that I mean the tie. That tartan plaid is not a good look for the suit jacket, not alone paired with the tie. Little more fond of the green look the day before.

Now Haakon I like his more casual look.

Yep, Haakon and Frederik nailed it here, in each their way.:cool:

As long as we don't see Haakon from his knees down, he's usually fine.

I think those glasses suit Frederik. All three, Frederik, Haakon and Phillipe look good to me.

It is actually. ? The pattern works.

The other gentleman's tie isn't bad either, but a little predictable.

Frederik looking extra handsome today at a exhibit opening for the Queen.

Excellent choice of tie

I agree, Fred looked very smart.

Haakon today in his usual "style"

the pants for me are a bit too casual

He is wearing chino's and a jacket, which is not uncommon for a smart casual engagement these days.

They really are an exceptionally fine pair of brouges, and either very new or someone takes excellent care of them.

Good grief!

Really, Iceflower, you could have warned us. :ermm:

I'll comment on King Phillip's clothes, when I'm back from therapy.

No words for Philippe... the shoes, the pants, the coat.... awful
