Two well suited gentlemen.
They each get from me.

They would have gotten two if they had had the accessories, a handkerchief and a lapel-pin.
It's in the details as Prince Charles, Prince Phillip and the late PH teach us.

The ties are a bit bland as well. We know that QMII is fond of vivid colors, so a bit of pang in the ties would have worked fine.

And Christian will soon grow into his suits.

Frederick looks really good in these photos of the Queen, her heir and his heir. He is trying to project a more dignified image these days. I think his youthful good looks were an asset when he was younger but made it harder to be taken seriously for no good cause.

Still, his sense of style is as individual as it has ever been.

No full photos yet from Queen Margrethe's birthday dinner but we can see her sons wore their best velvet tux jackets. I expected nothing less from the Danish princes.

Luckily Joachim's red velvet one did not come out and he wore a more stylish blue one

Grandfather the Shoemaker compliments on the shininess of the shoes of Frederik and Christian.

Know what surprises me? With lock downs and stay in place orders, I really expected the revival of the disco era leisure suit. Something like this would go very nicely with those non-existent trips to the barber these days. Any takers?

That could be me!
T-shirt and bare feet in slippers. Check! - The only difference being that King WA doesn't have a dog lying on top of his feet...
And King WA's hair is long, but at least he hasn't braided it and started to wear it in Princess Leia style buns, like me.
We both need a haircut!

Frederik looks dapper. That will suffice, so he gets from me.

King WA is a very large man and his office reflects both his size and his importance. It actually looks like a "real (home) office" which others seem a little reluctant to show.

WA's sartorial splendour is the 'de rigueur' work in home place de facto uniform. He looks nicely casual but not scruffy. A poster-boy for the situation sans dog!

since Joachim did his documentary last year and had a stylist on set, his casual looks have improved. Not mentioning his shoes .

Frederik today visiting an ethanol production plant.
Grey suit with a jacket ready.

And always stylish, a nice scarf to complete the outfit.

A stylist to make an otherwise perfectly attired gentleman, like Joachim, look effortlessly casual?

Of course, that's logic!
The thought hadn't occurred to me.

An interesting outfit for King Philippe today - I like the colours and patterns and actually don't mind them mixed together. However, from personal experience, the colours are quite light for someone with his hair colour - seems to wash him out a little.

Nonetheless, bravo for his boldness!

Why is he wearing a music hall comedians outfit?

All we need is to hear him cracking jokes with a Cockney accent.

The tartan stripes are meant to accentuate the jacket not the other way around.
The tie. The only justification for wearing such a tie off stage, is if it was presented to you by your eight year old daughter or grandchild.
But the worst bit is his watch. A yellowish strap to what appears to be a wrist-stopwatch?!?
There may be faraway galaxies where that is considered masculine, but not in the general vicinity of the Milky Way.

Presumably he is wearing sandals and jogging-pants under the table?

I suggest we make a pact. We pledge to forget about this outfit and never mention it again.
