On the contrary, my dear Polyesco.
Daniel's double-breasted suit prevented him from doing a Haakon. I.e. the poor button was on the verge of committing textile suicide. Presumably he's had that suit since he was seventeen, - because it is a bit tight...

Daniel get a :cool: for his jacket. Stylish.
 
Can somebody explain what is this "uniform use by Charles and Williams with tights, ballerina shoes with bows and a gold garter in one kneew?

It's called Court Dress. It's only wore for the Diplomatic Reception which is held annually.

No doubt delighting his grandchildren, who were present.
So far out it's tasteful and the rest is not bad. Daring shirt and handkerchief in his pocket.
Not sure about the hairs on his chins though.

Haakon really needs help.:bang: He is failing badly at the hipster college professor look. and worse, it does not seem like he has another pair of shoes (dirty and ugly), jacket or pants...

I actually like his slightly quirky style, not Henrik level quirk but not boring at least. But he needs new shoes, or at least someone who can clean them up.

I like Henrik's and Albert's ties, perfect for the holiday season, especially with kids around.

Now with Haakon yesterday, just when I though his outfit could not get worse, I spot the jacket he was wearing outside :eek:

There is of course a perfectly rational explanation for Haakon's attire. :graduate:

You see all his mirrors have somehow been hacked by Russian hackers.
I don't know how they do it, or why for that matter, but they are cunning them Russians...:ninja:
So whenever Haakon stands in front of a mirror it show a more, shall we say, flattering image than what we and everyone else see.:scream:
And the hackers can tune the image, so that it at times show a very flattering image, like yesterday... :cool: Result: Haakon is delighted with how he think he looks and completely oblivious to the real truth.

Here is an example of an elderly gentleman who dress casually stylish.

And no hairs in his face. - If you are to have a beard, grow a full beard or spectacular mustache.
And goatees should be left to goats!

Don't get me wrong, i like P.Daniël (and especially team Victoria&Daniël together) but i think his outfits on official events are overly formal. Not necessarily wanting him to be a new P.Henrik of Denmark (there can be only one), but surely there is more men's attire to be had than all the dark and "stiff" suits Daniël wears like this (cute photo btw, thank you to LadyFinn for posting in warm moments thread) Image Upper.com - Free Image Hosting - View Image

Daniel is seen with his hand half down his pocket in several photos. In a Swedish context that's equivalent to other royal males tap-dancing on the job! :p
 
Did he have on a light blue shirt for day 2, or was it just a strange shadow??? I'm thinking a shadow but stranger things have been known to happen...

The tie is nice, and perfect for the occasion. But that coat needs to retire. it looks at least 3 decades old
