These gents should see King Philippe. He and a pink shirt go well together.

P.Albert of Monaco at Red cross ball 2016
I don't mind the white for a tux (especially in summer) but it seems to be not ideally tailored...

I don't think white tux is flattering, especially on men with some kilos on... Albert looks like a ice-cream seller most of the time

These shoes are Norwegian.
No doubt. There is no market for such footwear outside Norway and college professors.
Conclusion: They are a present, that a beaming Haakon presented Joachim with, to wear for the Olympics.

All men should wear red shoes!
A few years ago an engineer friend was staying with us and needed to borrow a jacket. I offered him a red mens' fleece jacket of mine and he was horrified and refused. You'd think I'd offered him fluorescent pink lurex.

Here we have Joachim rethinking the use of this bright red present, more so after noticing the handsome gentleman to his left (nice fitted suit, with the green IOC tie, and smooth black shoes, oh plus a sexy smile )

Of course Joachim is looking uncomfortable.
Being honor-bound to wear red shoes.
And on top of not being offered a tie, like Frederik's.
For a perfectly attired gentleman, that's the equivalent to of appearing at a reception only wearing speedos.

I think he looks uncomfortable because he isn't wearing socks, so he is realizing the red leather from his slippers is going to stain his feet!

Now this is how you support your team. Orange pants for the Netherlands!

If it wasn't for the warm weather in Rio, Im sure Frederik would have taken his lovely red pants

I think maybe Haakon is colour-blind, especially with regard to his footwear.
