There is an expression about the clothes maketh the man. In this case you'd be forgiven for think the fur-hat is somehow in the process of giving birth to PH: http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2015/...9135141488.jpg

Well Muhler, much as I admire Daniel's sterling qualities and believe that Sweden lucked out when the King was finally persuaded that Victoria knew both her man and her mind, once the Palace Machine got hold of him he looks so trussed up he can't even breath.
The Crownprincess family interaction photos are wonderful and it doesn't matter what he's wearing because the three of them always seem to be smiling or laughing, but would it be so very bad to let him lose the Brylcream? Wear casual clothes, even jeans, when they are in casual settings.
I always feel like he gets his rating weekly from the palace. Pass, or could do better. Please, oh please, do worse . . . toss the Brylcream!
Now the Danes, well what can we say, they are a family of true eccentrics. Queen Margrethe is unlike any other Queen and Prince Henri is absolutely, without a doubt, the most eccentric of Royal Consorts . . . or any other man in Denmark for that matter. Is it any wonder that both Frederik and Joachim are, umm, just a little eccentric . . .

Well, in Daniel's defense I'd like to point out that he can't help it.
He is Swedish and therefore boring. It's genetic.
Permit me to illustrate with this sample of current Swedish fashion for men: https://app.box.com/s/0vhkv9bjqewbv7e53mqwr2byrx2e2rwu
Swedish men have over the centuries developed a trait whereupon they have evolved into being not only boring, but mind numbingly boring.
Swedish women are less boring to look at. Unless they say something, then they become mind numbingly boring as well.
It's not merely a claim of mine, it's a scientific fact.
- Have I ever told you that Swedes and Danes have an ongoing feud that has so far lasted some 800 years?
But perhaps one day Daniel will allow his inner hippie to come out and just let go and freak out.
Here we have a Swedish man, who has shocked Sweden with his eccentric attire: http://modesektionen.dk/image/box/293675/1120/5000

Oh, dear!
Them's fighting words, Muhler!
You see...while I love the eccentricities of your Royal Family, which, now, of course, has been enriched enormously by the inclusion of one of us , I nevertheless feel compelled to say a few words in favour of the Swedes in defence of your allegation of boringness. Well, maybe only two words: Alexander Skarsgard. http://healthyceleb.com/wp-content/u...-Skarsgard.jpg

That Prince Henrik is a special man, allez... but what is so "eccentric" about Prince Joachim and Prince Frederik?

I was wondering about that too. Ok, Joachim has shown some promising eccentric outfits but Crown Prince Frederik??

Lavender and pinkish shirt "eccentric" ? Or the famous red pants?
Sorry, but you haven't proved anything...
I bet the colourful vest is a present from Prince Henrik and Frederik feels he has to wear it once every 10 years...

Yees, but the good Skarsgard would, if he was allowed to by his producers, dress like Daniel and have a hairstyle just like Daniel. He would be much more comfortable that way.
Left to his own devices he would simply sit down and be boring, just like his fellow Swedes. It's actually abuse of the poor man when he is forced to pose for such photos.
Look at Daniel in this photo: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikiped...nce_Daniel.jpg
He's happy.
He knows he is the most conservatively dressed and boring man of those present.
In Sweden men don't come out of the closet, fashion wise. - They jump in.

The red pantalon, red chino or red bermuda is a common feature amongst gentlemen "from better circles". You can usually spot these at a concours hippique, during a classic rallye, alongside the polo field or during a regatta. It is often the casual daily "uniform" of the Corps, the birthroom of a new generation of lawyers, bankers, doctors, etc. Picture.

Frederik truly has an excellent style.
Now I see that Santa has brought William an early birthday present, a sweater that is not blue

And he mixed it up with a plaid shirt, too! Baby steps forward. Still probably want to set Lupo loose in his closet though😉

I have a question for everyone, have you ever seen those pants on men when they are on the golf course? Now Fred has never worn pants with tiny alligators on them has he? I have seen men with yellow pants with tiny green alligators on them and thought that was really taking it beyond the next level of dressing, something perhaps PH of Denmark would like to try. The reed pants are okay, and the hippy crowd is known for wearing them.
Now seeing Prince William with a gray sweater, darn finally got another color, that boy ( ) needs help in the dressing dept. Now maybe next a nice dark red sweater for him with a black shirt under it, just the collar showing and deep tan chinos.
