Well, I liked the style, as it was a "message", because she went to this gay community gala performance.
Thus I liked her style soo much, because she was a bit of a "drama queen" with her jewels - but not too exxagerated because of the combination with black dress - so it was the PERFECT outfit choice for the occasion.

Yes , I think this was meant to be a fitting yet fun statement about the event she was attending, and I think it worked. She does look lovely in that dress.

I think the bold chunky look accentuated the dress, which would have been pretty boring otherwise.
Sometimes contrast is better than matchy matchy or safe IMO.

Victoria looks fantastic IMO. I even like the yellow necklace and the earrings this time. Somehow the paste jewellery totally works for me at this event.

IMO the fake jewelry was just right to this gala, some remarkable diamonds would have been just out of place.

I agree that remarkable diamonds would have been out of place at this event, but couldn't there have been a happy medium? Way too much in the faux jewels department, imo. Love the dress, and I do hope we see it at another gala with the Real jewels. It would make an elegant impression!

March 11, 2013 - State visit from Turkey dinner.
Victoria in a lovely cut black dress which looks strapless matched with a fur bolero. Hair pulled up. I think she looked lovely but not a fan of the fur indoors.

From what I can see she looks lovely! I think the bolero goes very well with the dress. Only this terrible tiara again, but it looks better this time than before, maybe it's the hairdo.

Perhaps she was wearing subdued jewels out of respect for her aunt, and while I'm not a fan of the mini-cut steel tiara, that was probably a very appropriate choice. And is that the same brooch again from earlier today? She looks lovely and I love her updo.

She looks very beautiful in that black dress. Not a fan of the bolero but she still looks lovely.

Very nice and elegant look. Tiara does look better, must be the hairdo and also seems to be placed closer on her head.

She looks fantastic! I really like her in "dramatic" black, nice change from her usual style. Not a fan of the bolero jacket, but it works well with the dress.
All in all, a great evening look for Victoria.

A very grogeous close-up picture of Victoria's hairdo, jewels and Tiara:

The tiara is not that bad when we view it closely.

Great top, hairdo and jewels but I agree, the top clashes with the skirt. Too busy with the fabrics.

Really too bad about the long skirt, really does ruin the outfit. But the hairdo and jewels manage to save it.
What has she worn with that top before?
