March 11, 2013 - State visit from Turkey.
Princess Victoria in a black skirt suit, white shirt with a tie and a black pillow box. The looks is a bit too old for her IMO. The neck tie I don't like, a simple white shirt would've been nicer or something with a nice detailing. The pillow box hat is sitting wrong which makes it look weird.

I always had mixed feelings with people dressing "old" clothes, sometimes I like, sometimes I hate. But I think Victoria wanted to try something diferent than the "usual Victoria", I think she looks nice, though its not something I would wear myself.
Nice gesture of her to wear the brooch that was a gift from Princess Lilian and Prince Bertil. I'm sure it holds many dear memories to her.

She reminds me of an Air France stewardess. The hat really needs to go. The brooch is a lovely gesture towards a much loved Aunt.

^^^You took the words right out of my mouth about the stewardess comparison, along with the tie at the top of her high-collared blouse. The hat, though, is what unfortunately emphasizes the look. I'm sure her aunt was at the forefront of her mind, though. The brooch is a lovely, thoughtful touch.

Without the hat Victoria's outfit would have been perfect. I like the almost severe tailoring of the suit, it works on her. It's nice to see her with a chignon instead of her typical messy ponytail.

Actually I like her outfit very much. I think she looks very demure and respectful and by that paying tribute to her aunt. Her eyes are witnesses of her feelings though. Red and sad.

I agree with others about the stewardess look. I also do not care for the fabric of the suit. It almost appears to be heavy lace which is matronly looking on her. The brooch is a lovely and fitting choice.

The hat and blouse are making her look terribly granny-like in this outfit. But hairdo and make-up are lovely!
This suit totally reminds me of the gorgeous lace dress she wore at the evening event of the Opening of Parliament last (?) year.

I'm not liking the look, but as some pointed out, due to a death in the family, Victoria may have been thinking about other things. However, she looks appropriate for a formal meeting with a political leader of another country, and that's what counts. I think the hat would look lovely with a different outfit.

Not a good look for Victoria. That hat is also awful.

Very bad hat but I like the rest of the close cut suit.

I thought Victoria looked very nice at the farewell. Everything worked well together and the hair all up looked very nice.

I love that coat. Victoria looks sophisticated and put-together.

Nice coat and boots, and I like the black-and-white scarf that relieved the overwhelming black. Victoria looked very polished and well-put together.
