Seeing the 2008 picture just reinforces my unexcited reaction to the all-black attire, which really looks too youngish a style for her. What looks like brown two-toned shoes with black tights has me really shaking my head. Thanks for posting, Larzen.

I only like the ice-blue color; otherwise, the dress is just too frumpy and baby doll for her.

Great hair and makeup. Hideous dress.
I love the colour and even don't mind the style of the dress; but it's just a very bad fit on Mette-Marit and doesn't compliment her figure at all.

I think the dress is beautiful but it just doesn't fit on her. It's a beautiful color and the material is nice and elegant, and I especially love the shoes matching the belt; but it needs to be tailored to her body.

The dress was a lovely color for Mette-Marit and her hair and makeup looked beautiful but, although I like the actual dress, I do not think the style of the dress was very flattering on Mette-Marit (but perhaps I need to view clearer photos...).

The dress has an awful fit and cut to it. The bow/tie is quite big. MM pulls the color off but the rest is disappointing.

Not a good look at all. Those shoes are superelegant, too bad MM has such a bad posture.
