It looks like she recycled the moccasins worn Malawi when arriving at the royal yacht to leave for England.

I agree with you there. They are normal just like we are. Although they have the money to spend, spend, spend, why not where an outfit or shoes again if you like them so much. ;)

For the coronation trip she used the same blue jacket as for the spanishs statevisit and a hospital visit in 2004, the white dress is the same as in this post (UKPress.scanpix)

Hmm, I really think the dress from the spanish state visit is different as it was suggested in that thread, the pattern with the roses seems different, how strange to get two so similar dresses though, same length, same color, sam conservatie cut arround the neck:confused:

What is the big deal any way? So she is wearing and reusing clothes she already ownes insted of wasting money on something she is only going to wear once. I think it is very intelegent thing for her to do.

I think it is wonderful that she has other priorities then clothing. I think it is great that even though she probably has an unlimited budget, she decides to put her energy and money elsewhere. To me she is the what a modern Princess should be, a great mom, great wife, a humanitarian and really down to earth person. I also love the way she looks a HM, you can tell from looking at all the pictures, that this is really a love match.
 
Well she deffently does use energy (time and money) on clothes IMO, and no, there is no unlimited budget in the Norwegian family, they are not that rich. And both Mette-Marit, Sonja and Märtha has been critisised for their spending on various subjects, not only on clothes (strangely the men are always innocent lambs when it comes to spending:wacko: )

She has worn the whole suit with skirt 3 times before, just the jacket with pants for opening of holocaust center

The whole strange and unflattering pant outfit in Toronto, the same outfit for seminar and meeting with winners of a writing comeptition on 25th of August

I absolutely love that coat. Her look at the Italian state visit was just classy and elegant.:) In Sogn og Fjordane the loose hair (those roots!) and black stockings detract from the elegance of the coat. Such a coat isn't meant to be worn with black stockings.:cool:
