Same blue hat during Queen Elizabeth's visit and to Prince Willem-Alexander and Maxima's wedding.
Isn't that hat atrocious! I don't know who advised her to wear something like that. It looks as if she was wearing a saladbowl. My granny has a hat exactly like that one, but she's eighty-eight. I hope MM will give the blue monster away ASAP. She's too lovely to wear salad bowls!
All these pictures make you realize how stunning MM actually is. No matter what weird stuff she is wearing - she always manages to pull it off.
Isn't that picture a hoot? It's as if she was thinking: "Oh my god, I've actually been given china as my wedding present, now I can't even pretend any longer that I'm anti-establishment."
I do wonder how big the closets of the various royal ladies are. Certainly there's much recycling going on, but at the same time they can't do it too often.
Thanks for all the photos...there were several that i hadn't seen before and I agree with many others that she really looks great. I've also been impressed with her recyxling - she's like CP mary - she has the knack of wearing something again but in a different way, making it appear as a new outfit. Bravo MM!!!!

Even royalty has to recycle their clothes but who minds when the royal is as beautiful as Mette Marit!
I agree with you there. They are normal just like we are. Although they have the money to spend, spend, spend, why not where an outfit or shoes again if you like them so much.
Cheers.
