Are you sure it's from the Swedish state visit to Belgium? It's just that I've seen pictures of her wearing the same dress for the Danish state visit to Belgium. Of course she could've worn it for both state visits, because it sure is a beautiful dress. :) The purse is beautiful too, which is probably a good idea to comment on seeing as it's the topic. :)

And now I've seen this bag at the website of Olivier Strelli (photo 1). It also looks very similar, even more than the one from Laurent David (photo 2)... What do you think?

I think it's the one from Olivier Strelli. Mathilde's quite a fan of his clothes as well. did you know that she first asked him to design her wedding gown? He refused (politely of course :)) and afterwards Mathilde went to see Eduard Vermeulen of Natan...
