Crown Princess Masako's Fashion and Style Part 1: November 2008 - April 2019
Here's a thread for Crown Princess Masako's fashion and style.
Let's start off with these two events:

I think it's interesting how Princess Masako's hairstyle has been the opposite of whatever Princess Kiko has been doing with hers. I'm not sure which of the two ladies decides to grow her hair when the other cuts hers or vice versa, but Princess Kiko's hair is now as short as I've ever seen it and Princess Masako's is nearly down to her waist. I think it looks good on her (better than the shoulder-length bob she had when she was first married), but I do wonder if there's any significance in the way the two ladies always seem to look as unlike each other as they can.

She always looks quite conservative and formal, and it works for her.

I love her hat! It is really elegant, and the color is so pretty on her.

I have noticed that Crown Princess Masako favours light coloured clothing, such as whites and creams and I think these look really good on her. She always dresses very smartly and I totally agree she looks impeccable. It seems she also likes trouser suits, which always look nice on her. It would be nice to see some of the outfits she wears for evening events because I cannot remember the last time she wore a kimono.

I like her also in white and creamy costumes as they match her dark hair. Her taste as it's impeccable - that goes without saying.

Masako is a beautiful woman but she dresses way too old for her age. This last suit looks more like something Queen Elizabeth II would wear. Maybe if she tailored the suits a little more they would look better

Her hair is so long! I didn't realize it was that long now. Isn't Masako in her late 30's or early 40's. It's a very nice white suit.

I checked and she is 46 yrs. old.
While I'm here I might as well post more photos.

Quite a contrast from the light colors we usually see her in.
