The dress was made by Australian designer Carla Zampatti and was created especially for Mary's photo shoot for Australian Women's Weekly. It's a custom version of a gown from the designer's existing collection, done in pale pink brocade and without the high-low hemline variation for this state dinner.

It's a timeless dress and I love it! She looks lovely in the pictures. The only thing I don't like about this dress is the length, it was too long.

That pink gown is truly stunning. Classic, regal, and fairytale like. That shade of pink is beautiful and goes wonderful with the rubies. One of my favorite dresses ever.

Last night, Mary and Frederik attended Denmark’s biggest fundraising live show 'Denmark’s Collection'. Mary looked great in a elegant (new?) black coat, a simple black dress underneath and a classic Mary hairdo which suits her so well:

The coat is lovely and it looks new. I really liked the inner color against the black. The cut is flattering and the belt worked perfectly with the look. Her hairstyle suited her very well. I wonder who the designer is of her coat.

I think Mary looks very elegant and sophisticated and black suits her, but there's something off about the dress IMO. I'm also not a fan of the belt, but I think all in all it looks alright with the dress and I do like her hair.

I am not liking this oufit. The coat looks odd to me, a strange mixture between burberry & evening dress. I don't like the hairstyle, it makes Mary look matronly & old. I wish she'd try something fresh, like a bob.

I believe the coat is by Hugo Boss which is one of Mary's favourite labels. Very nice look in my opinion. :-)

According to Wardrobe of Crown Princess Mary on FB the coat-dress is indeed by Hugo Boss. :-)

Mary is really on a hot streak with this ensemble. I love the coat, Mary always looks great in something "waisted" and the flared skirt really flatters her, but I would never have guessed there was room under the somewhat fitted top for a cardigan.

Her hair is beautifully done and although I hear some saying she looks too matronly I can't help but laugh. Mary is an older woman but lacks the other two prerequisites to be called matronly, namely "fat" and "frumpish"!

Mary looks terrific and I like the clean lines of black and white. Incidently, that white short-sleeved blouse looked very much like one of those hanging on the rack that Mary was perusing at the fashion show the other day.
