I don't like the gown with the tiara I love them both but together I think it is "miss" ..IMO

I agree. Love the dress, love the hairstyle, don't think this dress goes well with this tiara.
And in general don't like the changes which were done to this tiara.

I have to admit, I agree. There is something about the gold filigree lace that fights with the silver leaves of the tiara.

If every single outfit Mary wears have to be matchy-matchy with her limited number of tiaras, she sure has lots of restrictions in her choice of gowns
This is not directed at you, MARG, but there really is an incredible amount of nitpicking to be found in Mary's fashion threads in general.

I agree with your sentiments. CP Mary really has no "in between" tiara for these kinds of the events. I think her wedding tiara really does not do justice to her position as Crown Princess and would have been too small for this kind of event!

I dont think theres nit picking. Its a fashion thread. If everyone said nothing but Mary is perfect......boring. I feel all us regulars really love Mary. The ones that are mean dont last. Im not a fan of some so I stay off there threads!! Lets enjoy tonight too........yeah!

This dress seems like one made for those conservative functions or state visits. Not a gala dinner.
