Well I don't know Princess Mary at all but I'am pretty sure that she would wear uncomfortable high heels just for the sake of fashion...but I think that she wars them all the time so she should be used to that even if they are unconfortable what I'am pretty sure they are...

Not too sure about Mary but wearing very high heels will force one to have a very straight posture..at least that's what happen to me. For Mary, it will give her the extra height so that others can see her more easily among the crowds.

Or maybe she just likes them and is comfortable wearing them. I love a high stiletto heel. I think that make the leg look long and lean.

You are absolutely correct. Just ask a normal man his opinion. Heels have it!

I agree; stilettos look fabulous and give you great legs. They do look good!

But they are bad for your body; they ruin your feet, they ruin your back and they distort your balancing skills.

Women have been wearing high heels since they were invented. If a young woman wants to wear them she will .

In Noblesse et Royaltes, someone said that the skirt is actually pants. Do you think so?

It doesn't look like it is but anything is possible (as the first photo shows) and the ballerina length is just so flattering, especially if you have nice ankles which Mary does. The Gianvito Rossi silver accented shoes are amazing!

All in all, despite the black on black look I love how the green onyx earrings and the silver on the shoes gives just a flash of colour and light.

Fabulous, elegant, and regal. Loove the shoes! Mary just radiates as a crown princess..

Beautiful look! The pleated skirt is really pretty and I quite like her heels.
This is such a simple look but very elegant.

Can't say I'm crazy about this one, but she sure knows how to do " fairytale Princess" .

i love this gown to mary..it is so speciel but very beautiful, look at all the details..i like how mary is not afraid of sometimes try some very different and modern things. the simple wedding tiara is the correct choice to this gown

I like the outfit, but all black is not my favourite.

I like this dress and I think this event is very suitable for it. I found it rather underwhelming in the AAA event dutch investiture, it wasnt classy enough for such an occasion.

This time, it makes a nice outfit, Mary looks good and the tiara works well with the dress (I find the tiara too underwhelming for AAA events too).

Its good to see Frederik looking like a human being again.

The first time Mary wore this dress I need to look at it a few times because it's a quite different "Mary-dress", but then I found the dress very beautiful. It's not my favorite, but it's indeed a beautiful dress. But such a dress that only Mary can carry with grace and elegance, I dare not think how I would look like wearing it :p

But I will also give credit to the handsome "accessories" Mary holds in her left hand... Frederik without beard is my best-looking tonight.

I like it better this time also. In motion it is very pretty. I would have loved to see her wedding pearl earrings with it.....Im never satisfied...hehe!

I didn't like this gown at the it's orginal outing and I think now it should go IMO in the bin!!!

It is an unusual dress, but one which suits Mary. SHE wears the dress, not the other way around. This is one time I really like the simplicity of her wedding tiara...

The dress is interesting. I can't say that I'm keen, but it looks nice on Mary and she is elegant.

I think the good thing about this gown is that she's only worn it twice. And she should leave it at that, because twice was twice too many!

I love this gown, it looks very Danish folkloric to me if that makes any sense. Midnight tiara would have looked better with it.
The only thing I don't like about the dress is the bodice, too much skin showing on her chest. The way it is so wide open so to speak, makes her bust line look a little droopy. Plus, she is on the spare side so more material up top would be more flattering, imo.

Actually I also liked this gown and like it the first time I saw it because it was so much nicer that some of the other nasty creations that were worn that day.

I too like the dress. The wedding tiara worked well with it, but I agree that the Midnight tiara might have worked well with it. Perhaps on another outing.

The white dress with the appliques or whatever is okay. The problem I have is the neckline seems too wide to be worn with the blue sash. Plus the sash also takes away from the detail at the waist.

Are they appliqués? I thought it was just fabric... ?
