She looks lovely. The color and style is great, I love the neckline the only thing i don't like is the ruffle detail, seems childish to me.

I like the soft shade of pink Mary is wearing, but the top half feels a bit "off" to me, I'm not a fan of the frilly decorations (?).

Do not like the pink dress. Way too many ruffles and tucks and the odd hem and the material seems a bit unforgiving. Plus that is not her color. However, todays white blouse and boucle skirt are just perfect! And great new haircut/hairdo which flatters her.
Any id on the blouse?

Today, CP Mary attended the 50th jubilee celebration of Day Center Strødammen as patron of the Danish Brain Injury Association and the Danish Stroke Association:
Marys looks lovely in a light blue summer dress. As I have mentioned before it's feels like summer in Denmark these weeks - warm, sunny days with 26-28 degress :) But Mary's beaming smile can bright up any outfit!

Great skirt and blouse. Love the stitched down skirt over the stomach area, then the pleats open up. Pretty feminine delicate print, the blouse looks white to me not pink, the flutter sleeves are a nice accent for,the outfit.

Yes, I think the stitched down pleats create a great stylistic look on Mary. It allows for a sleek midriff and hip area and pure romantic flair below. Pairing with blush earrings, shoes and that gorgeous blouse with its fluttering capped sleeves, is a master stroke.
The overall effect is of someone important but not pretentious, the ballerina length of the skirt is pure femininity and the blouse with its scooped neck allowed her to bend over and talk to the children without any unseemly gaping at the neck. The hairstyle also allowed her to bend over and look at the kids and their work without a whole heap of hair flopping down and obscuring her face and producing a nervous but ultimately futile habit of tucking of the hair behind her ears!
It was interesting to compare her ensemble with her previous engagement aimed at a totally different age group and purpose. Her blue dress was elegant but not fussy, discreet but not boring and allowed her to move around and crouch down, spending more one on one time with the guests. An altogether more serious and restrained 'look' for an altogether more serious occasion and a more princessy look for the school opening.
