I love the cape, but that's about it. I don't think the hat and boots look right with this outfit.

I agree on both your points, but especially the latter.

The two royal women looked great side-by-side. Love the idea of the joint planning!

I like the cape and boots and prefer it too Maxima's too tight too city coat for the venue.

March 26, 2015 - Day 1 in Japan Mary recycling her snake print coat with black tourers and flats.

Never liked the coat and don't like it now, the print is just too much. The flats don't look good on with this outfit, they are a bit too casual for such a look IMO.

I loved the coat the fist time and I still do

The flats are mismatched with the rest of the outfit, though, they don't look good.

Mary owns much better coats that this one. The flats look mismatched to me.

The coat is lovely and fits like a glove, but I would have prefer white pants instead of black as it had given a more spring look. Hope tomorrow is a dress day ( :

I like it but would have loved tan trousers instead of navy/black? Much better with her pretty heels!

The style of the coat is very flattering on Mary, but the pattern reminds me of a sofa, or throw pillow.

I don't like the flats either, but I believe they removed their shoes at one point so more than likely that's why these were chosen.

flats are fine but not with black tights! Prefer lighter trousers with a slimmer coat, otherwise very nice

Day 2 in Japan, March 27, 2015 - Mary wearing a recycled printed dress matched with a coat we have seen before.

Nice look but hoped for her hair in a ponytail.
