Love the outfit, very chic. There aren't too many who could wear that skirt and not look tubby.
Would have preferred black boots, not a fan of the black tights, especially on the poor woman next to her.

Let's see some of Mary ski clothes, has I told before every year different:
And what about Princess Marie's new ski clothes every year...?
You are posting a similar gallery in her fashion thread, I presume? ;)

Isnt she wearing the pants of one of the previous years?

Yes, the pants are definitely recycled. And she recycled bits and pieces before and just matches them differently.
It's not as if she wears a totally new outfit every year.

Bingo. Mary does really well mixing and matching her ski outfits every year

So what! I certainly did also when I was much younger and still skied in Colorado and Vermont. I also still purchase a new winter coat each year and many new outfit both summer and winter plus swim suits. I am sure many here do likewise. Why should this be a subject for finding fault?

Exactly! Furthermore, purchasing new outfits helps the economy so we should all thank the DRF for their contributions!:flowers:

CP Mary to the annual photo session with the family wearing a black jacket I don't think we have seen before and her recycled pink pants.
I think she looks chic and practical at the same time and quite inspiring to see how she combines the jackets and pants differently over the years. This combination is one of the best IMO.

Very nice, and wintery look for Mary. She looks comfortable, and warm.

The fashion thread for royalty is probably not the optimum thread for you if you have issues with new acquisitions of clothing ;)

If you want to compare it might be more interesting if you e.g. compared the various crown princesses instead of two princesses from the same country. It's no secret that in most countries the CPss has more funds for clothing than non-CPss......

When you are on a winter sports vacation, you may need dry outfits several times a day. My son must have at least 10 snowboard jackets and a similar number of pants. He's not trying to be stylish, just dry.

To be fair..why don't you do a comparison of how many gala dresses Princess Marie has worn that she has not recycled compared to how CP Mary recycles her gala dresses? Where's the criticism of Princess Marie for that?

Overall, I think Mary looks nice and practical; although I'm not sure how I feel about the bright purple trousers, but if Mary feels comfortable in them, then why not? :)

I thought the jacket was quite pretty and it fitted really well. I don't care much for the purple pants but in such surroundings, such a bright color is always nice to see especially in this season when everyone tends to wear darker colors.

Those black boots are the best i have seen in a royal lady

I don't like the dress but I love the boots.

I love silk dresses with boots, these boots love very confortable and with fur inside... anyone knows tha brand of the dress...?

mary is dressed neat and elegant..as a bonus is her wonderful smile :)

I guess I'm on my own here as I find the boots a little clunky with the dress, which is OK but a little busy. Mary looks elegant however (as always) and I like her jacket.

Pretty dress on the bias and great boots. The blazer gives it a work vibe. The whole thing works, nice earrings too.

Very lovely. Yes, the dress is a bit busy, but the black blazer balances it out.

No, you are not :flowers:, I agree with you. I find the boots a bit too heavy for this dress and I also think the dress is a bit busy. Nice pieces, but they don't work, in my opinion, together.
