Exactly! Furthermore, purchasing new outfits helps the economy so we should all thank the DRF for their contributions!

Very nice, and wintery look for Mary. She looks comfortable, and warm.

The fashion thread for royalty is probably not the optimum thread for you if you have issues with new acquisitions of clothing
If you want to compare it might be more interesting if you e.g. compared the various crown princesses instead of two princesses from the same country. It's no secret that in most countries the CPss has more funds for clothing than non-CPss......

When you are on a winter sports vacation, you may need dry outfits several times a day. My son must have at least 10 snowboard jackets and a similar number of pants. He's not trying to be stylish, just dry.

To be fair..why don't you do a comparison of how many gala dresses Princess Marie has worn that she has not recycled compared to how CP Mary recycles her gala dresses? Where's the criticism of Princess Marie for that?

Overall, I think Mary looks nice and practical; although I'm not sure how I feel about the bright purple trousers, but if Mary feels comfortable in them, then why not?

I thought the jacket was quite pretty and it fitted really well. I don't care much for the purple pants but in such surroundings, such a bright color is always nice to see especially in this season when everyone tends to wear darker colors.

I guess I'm on my own here as I find the boots a little clunky with the dress, which is OK but a little busy. Mary looks elegant however (as always) and I like her jacket.

Pretty dress on the bias and great boots. The blazer gives it a work vibe. The whole thing works, nice earrings too.

Very lovely. Yes, the dress is a bit busy, but the black blazer balances it out.

No, you are not , I agree with you. I find the boots a bit too heavy for this dress and I also think the dress is a bit busy. Nice pieces, but they don't work, in my opinion, together.
