For me the dress was ruined by the cardi, looks too girlish on a 40 year old woman. Less would have been more!

She looks rediculous. Poorly dressed woman, I am afraid. No elegance, taste or dress sense, whatsoever. Combined with those ugly leggs, she never succeeds in cutting an elegant figure.

I think its ok to not like her fashion sense but calling her legs ugly is going to far....This is the wrong thread for you!

Following the fashion principle of looking in a mirror after you're dressed and removing one accessory, perhaps the hat is the one she should have removed!

The dress is nice, it's a beautiful color and Maxima wears these colors well but I agree with others that the hat is too much.

It's a pretty color but the bottom part of the dress is too wide imo.

Máxima attended the start of the project "Open Entry Language" to mark the 10th anniversary of Cybersoek
in Amsterdam today, January 31, wearing a winter outfit in dark grey and brown with the big cape we've seen
before. I'm not a fan of that collar.

She looks much better without the cape. The entire look would be great without that funny collar IMO and hear pulled back.

Agreed, a much more tailored collar would have been better. I like the belt!

The collar is a little strange, but I like the slacks.

Actually, I like the cape because it covered the rest of that odd outfit up.

So uncomfortable looking! The ruffle wool collar, scoop vest, wide belt and such ugly colors.

How true
The clownish collar ruins the whole outfit.

If not for the collar of the top it would be a perfectly fine outfit.

This is one of the reasons why I like her. She is herself at all times.

You are right. She wore it before on November 25, 2008 and December 9, 2009:
