Two very beautiful, elegant black suits appropriate for the solemn occasions. I love the retro peplum style of the first with her hair pulled back and light black hosiery, but not the style of the sunglasses. I'm still gasping over the size of her pearls, though. The second suit didn't have as much flair, but was elevated by the gorgeous diamond jewelry. I thought her hosiery had a deeper tone to it. I really liked how she styled her hair as well.

Two perfect black suits for very sad occasions. The first with the small peplum, was followed through with the slight bell or ruffle of the sleeve at the wrist. The second was equally well tailored and perfect length with appropriate hosiery.
Her jewlery, pearls and diamonds, were just enough. Loved her hair on the first. Well done Maxima.

Her last two suits have been a hit. My favorite is the second one.

The two black suits are very flattering and quite slimming.
Maxima managed to look good and great that she also took time to have her hair done well.

I love that colour on Maxima and the gray accessories are very gentle against the fragile pale of the dress. I t really suits her .. thank heaven. IMO

I don't care for the color, either. Max can carry strong colors, and the style is OK.

The color washes her out. She has a very fair complexion and hair color, so a stronger, bolder shade would have done wonders.

The Valentino dress is a beautiful dress but unfortunately it looks too small/tight on Maxima. I don't care for the color, with the right make up she wont look so washed out. Her over all is messy IMO.
Id like to see better pictures of the coat before I judge.

Máxima at a conference at the University of Twente in Enschede today, April 11, 2012, wearing a combination
of skirt and jacket she's worn several times before, last time in February with boots. I like it better with today's
shoes:

Yes, it does look better sans boots although I think the fullness of the skirt and the peplum top add too much bulk to her. Thanks for the photos, Iceflower.

Oh dear. I am not liking all of the fullness going on between the peplum and the voluminous skirt! I agree with Baroness on that..
