I like the dress for a change, the style is fun with the fringes hanging down and so is the color. The make up is quite heavy for her which I don't like. A bit less would've looked nicer.

I think she looks woderful in the Gucci pics! I love the colour of the dress, and although the halter top is not something I would try myself it looks great in Charlotte. As someone says it conceals herbony chest and collar bones (her weakest points) and it makes her her shoulders look narrower.
Also, the rest of the body has been obviously tailored for her body. It creates hips were they are none and makes her figure more womanly.
Actually, as someone else also said, it's the first time Charlotte looks like a woman, not a girl. Sultry, poised, sure of herself. Even her posture and attitute have improved! There is only one pic when she looks clumsy, in most of them she looks like a queen, proud and sure of her beauty!
I also like her hair, and I love the make-up and the smoky eyes. Her face has very strong features and sometimes too much make-up can make her look hard, but this is not the case, I think that this look was asking for a strong, self-confident make up, and the smoky eyes are perfect for it.

You know, usually I would have agreed 100% with you. I always thought the same thing. That she looked so fresh and natural and effortless in candids, and her beauty is so natural...
Specially during her Lagerfeld era, dressing-up did nothing for her . I don't usually like her style when she assists to fashion-show either and when she went to parties and dressed up by herself it usually was a big fail, while her street style has always been efffortless and chic.
But I think tha my opinion is changing!
This year she's had many right outfits in parties and dress-up events that made her look beautiful.
(I'm linking to pomeline's blog because it easier for me to find all the pics together there, I hope it's allright for her if she's around here)

The gray dress in she wore at a diner in new york

The yellow dress at the amade event (althought I hate the shoes she choose to wear with it)

The pink ballerina gown at Antibes

The green Gucci trouser at the Monaco GCT

The pink dress at the wedding

The yellow dress at the cartier event. She is beautiful in yellow! It's such a difficult colour to wear but ir really suits her:
http://10.img.v4.skyrock.net/105/pom...5_dceNk4LN.gif

The Miu Miu dress and the vogue party, understated but nice.

Yes, they were some epic fails like the criminal Gucci thing she was wearing in Venice
http://img195.imagevenue.com/img.php..._122_491lo.jpg

the sad Lagerfeld thing she wore at Albert's civil wedding.

and I'm sorry, I must be the only one, but I hated hated hated the baby blue princess gown she wore at the reception. I think it was the corniest, whinniest, most mawkisht and at the same time incredibly pretentious dress ever!

But generally speaking she is being incredibly beautiful and elegant in most of her public appearences these lasts months.

On the other hand, I'm finding her street style more and more blah.

And the Stella McCartney thing! I didn't like it in Venice but at the lunch it looks definitely awful! Charlotte is ugly in it aswell. Her arms look horrendous (like a man's). I wonder why does she have such strong biceps. Biceps are the muscles yoou should never use while riding a horse.

And I don't think I like her in the Gucci street pics either. I don't like the bag at all, or the jacket and such high heels for travelling by plane!
Also, a jacket and naked feet by day, not at a party, or by night because it's suddenly fresher?
It makes her look like the northern tourists who travel to southern europe and are always wearing sandals even if they are freezing! And her hair looks burned!

Nice outfit but the crayon was such a bad match with it. I think that this colour would be a bad match with everything

I agree for these first two outfits you just mentioned. A crime, really. On the other hand, it's nice to see her taking risks and wearing something extraordinary. But if i even wanted to do the same thing, i would never wear those clothes. Some big failures (for me). This grandma-like look:
http://i56.tinypic.com/2qxnf4z.jpg
http://i52.tinypic.com/2bxjfd.jpg

and this one:
http://i51.tinypic.com/34o6kj6.jpg

It's better to experiment until you find style than hesitating and being afraid. At least she's making some progress.

Sometimes - i think - her body makes her look weird im some clothes--> dresses mostly. Sorry, but some dresses cannot flatter her because off her arms, skinny though muscular body and her tendency to hump. Such as:
http://i51.tinypic.com/2qiqzv9.jpg
http://i52.tinypic.com/2n1e5iu.jpg
There are many types of clothes for every woman/body type.

Her hair is dyed and because of the sun the colour looks a bit weird. I kind of like it that way though!
Trepstrep, sorry for deleting a part of your post but it would have been very big with my answers

For me the worst outfit Charlotte wore was this beige two pieces ( jacket(with skirt) Miu Miu she wore at Monaco national day some years ago. Old looking, cheap looking, an absolute horror!

^ Oh, I don't remember this outfit fandesacs2003, could you post a pic?

Charlotte at the Grand Prix Arc de Triomphe, on october 2nd. Here is her outfit: it seems to be very simple (a navy t-shirt + a white skirt) et she has a new pink Chanel handbag. I whish we had a better view! I don't know what you would think about it, but according to me, it's a bit too simple, and maybe a bit too aged for her.

EDIT: here is the better view! With a lot of marks, sorry. She wore red shoes woth a pink bag, two colours I wouldn't dare to wear together! About the colours, too: she's wearing blue, white and red. I'm sure that on the internet, lots of people are going to compare her outfit to the french flag!

Hello
Have a look at this link, I hope it works.

La Famille Princière de Monaco: Fête Nationale Monégasque 2006 - La Prise d'armes

Imagine that at this period Charlotte was exactly 20 years old. She is dressed like 40! and the outfit is uggly, and IMO it shows her large!

I would never wear that dress and what's up with the unkempt hair? She doesn't look any different than a college student on a very bad day.

Thanks!! This outfit was so awful that my memory did anything to forget
it! It was very ugly, she looked old and large, as you said.
