It could very well be that trainers are something her physiotherapist have recommended her to wear while her leg heals.

They look like special trainers made to ease the healing process when you break a leg. I wore a similar pair after breaking my leg.
Carina certainly couldn't wear heels, and barefoot would have not only been quite weird and tacky (for a Church), but extremely uncomfortable for someone with broken leg; you need some support, something between the feet and the pavement, as it were. At least, I did.
She did look lovely though (trainers excluded - but they were a necessity).

She did the best she could IMO> I just don't like the suit, this color is just too strong to me. I always love Carina's smile.

Yes I so agree with you, she looks so elegant and refined, and most of all a she looks like a lady, others, not sure of at times.
Most of been cold there for it looks like a man's jacket.....her partner Gustav was there?
