There are a few photos of the garden in the book I have on the renovation of the palace. It looks much better with the big trees and leafs than in the photos in my earlier link, in which the photos must be from pretty early in the spring as there are no leafs in the trees.
The photos are from more than ten years ago and the trees would be even bigger now.

Until the end of 2027, the Danish Palaces and Culture Agency will replace the roofs on Christian VII's Palace and Christian VIII's Palace. The two mansions will thus be covered by scaffolding for periods of time.
