Do we know if the Queen is going to Scotland for the usual summer break?

This is more of a news rather than description of Palace of Holyroodhouse

A 39-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday after a bomb disposal unit was called to investigate a suspicious item. A spokesperson for Police Scotland later confirmed that it was made safe following an examination by Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD). There was no threat to the public and ongoing inquiries are made to the full circumstance.

I assume the Palace is closed to the public at the moment.

"The Christmas trees have arrived at Her Majesty’s official residence in Scotland, the Palace of Holyroodhouse!

The Palace has lit up with festive wreaths, garlands and lights, including a 15-foot-high Christmas tree in the Great Gallery."

Not sure which is my favourite the Festive Wreaths or the Christmas Tree.

What a shame that Holyrood Abbey was never restored and left a ruin after the 1768 roof collapse.

Fair. Though I have to say, the ruins of the abbey add so much charm and character to Holyrood, which is not the most architecturally interesting building.

Yes it does but is also a little sad as it was the Scottish Westminster Abbey its vaults contain the remains of Scottish kings and queens and was a sacred site.
