The person running their twitter account needs to speak with the gardeners before labelling the plants incorrectly!

Okay! So long as they got the feathered bird with the bill and webbed feet right we're golden.

Or the Queen, she seems to know her plants.
Well, they do say that a rose by any other name would smell as sweet, nevertheless, in the video they’ve mislabeled a japonica camellia as a rose :bang:.

There are some grape hyacinths labelled as bluebells! The Queen & her gardeners will not be amused.

I just noticed that, they might get a telling off from the boss ;)

If only they had just stuck to: "And we have some little blue flowers, and some big pink flowers, and...."

In GB of all places, where gardening is a national sport, to not check with someone who could tell a rose from a camellia. :bang:

The person making the film is probably a teenager on work experience.

Did I spot in a recent Court Circular that The Wessex's are also listed under St James' Palace now?

I thought as much, I know we discussed Anne being listed under StJ a while back.

Just came back from visiting Buckingham Palace. It’s amazing. I would love some alone time in that place and an invite for dessert because yummy... Pity we weren’t allowed to take photos though.

I’m glad to hear you enjoyed your visit. I’ve been wanting to get over to London to visit the royal residences since the 90’s. I haven’t done it yet.

how exciting! I am glad you enjoyed your visit. I am heading to London in October (I live in USA). I hope I will be able to visit Buckingham Palace. It looks so glamorous and historical.

September is the latest you can visit the State Rooms. Kensington is great too though, but small. My favourite so far is Hampton Court Palace. Have fun in London though. There’s plenty to do here.

If you are interested in seeing royal palaces, it may be worth making the trek to Windsor Castle. The state rooms are worth a look aorund.

The present grand staircase has the same dimensions as the one in old Buckingham House. The only difference is that a further flight of stairs was added leading to the East Gallery & thence to Victoria's new ballroom. These stairs start & ascend behind where the artist of this picture would have been standing.

The decoration was by Louis Laguerre but destroyed during Nash's alterations.

Very good thanks Cyril. Do you know if any area has been finished yet? Modernising bedrooms and bathrooms will be a huge improvement. The 1950s was such a long time ago in styling.
I imagine the corridors will essentially look the same when the art work and objects are returned.
