It is curious that Sri Lanka is concerned about the oppression of the British people, when they could be talking about Darfur, Myanmar, the Taliban and any number of other serious world situations. Perhaps the Sri Lankans feel confident about their ability to beat up on the figurehead of the British monarchy?

Our government is probably considering it, just because the UN suggested it and they know that Britain wouldn't go so far as to tell them to get lost!
