The Duchess of Cornwall and Prince William will share a carriage in the Trooping the Colour procession on Saturday, royal aides said. It is the first time that both William and Camilla, his stepmother, have ridden in the official procession. They will share the first barouche - an 18th-century landau formerly used by the Queen Mother - with the Earl and Countess of Wessex. William, 22, who is expecting his degree results on Saturday, famously crossed swords with the Earl when his uncle Edward's TV production company broke a media agreement and filmed him at university in St Andrews.
The Duke of York, with daughters Princess Beatrice, 16, and Princess Eugenie, 15, will follow behind in the second barouche with the Princess Royal's husband, Rear Admiral Timothy Laurence. Prince William and Camilla will watch the Trooping the Colour parade from the window of the Major-General Office's overlooking Horse Guards. Others in the carriage procession will join them at the vantage point favoured by the Queen Mother and where the Duke of Wellington's desk is kept.
Camilla is expected to appear on the famous Buckingham Palace balcony with the Queen and other senior members of the royal family to watch an RAF flypast following Trooping the Colour.

Today the world has embraced new royal Princesses in the form of Mary of Denmark and Maxima of the Netherlands. But it's questionable whether even these hugely popular, increasingly glamorous future Queens will ever capture the world's imagination in the same way as Diana.
As Mario acknowledges: "She really was a true Princess". -www.theroyalist.net-
