The Duke of Gloucester this morning departed from Heathrow Airport, London, for Kenya and was received this evening upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi, by Ms Susie Kitchens (Deputy High Commissioner to the Republic of Kenya).

Lieutenant Colonel Alastair Todd is in attendance.

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were represented by The Duke of Gloucester at the Memorial Service for President Daniel arap Moi (former President of the Republic of Kenya) which was held at Nyayo National Stadium, Aerodrome Road, Nairobi, Kenya, today.

The Duchess of Gloucester, Joint Patron, the Learning in Harmony Project, today visited St Paulís Cathedral School, 2 New Change, London EC4.

The Duke and Duchess continue to be hard working royals - they go about their duties without much recognition or press coverage. The Queen I am sure is grateful to her cousins that they have continued to serve the family

His Royal Highness, President, Crown Agents Foundation, this afternoon attended a Tea at Buckingham Palace.

The Duchess of Gloucester, Patron, Turn2us, this afternoon received Mr Thomas Lawson (Chief Executive).

Her Royal Highness, President, this evening visited Princess Helena College, Preston, to celebrate the Bicentenary and was received by Her Majestyís Lord-Lieutenant of Hertfordshire (Mr Robert Voss).

His Royal Highness, Patron, British Mexican Society, this evening attended a Lecture at Kingís College London, Strand, London WC2.

The Duchess of Gloucester, Honorary President, the Lawn Tennis Association, this morning received Mr David Rawlinson (President) and Mr Scott Lloyd (Chief Executive Officer).
