Lady Rosanagh is also married to the heir apparent of the current 7th Earl of Verulam.

The 11th Duke of Roxburghe also married the 3rd child of Maxwell Aitken, 3rd Baron Beaverbrook in 2011, Hon. Charlotte Susanna Aitken. However, they divorced a year after and Charlotte remarried last March of this year to Francesco Bellasi.

And one other piece of trivia, Lord Ted Innes-Kerr, the current Duke’s brother was a roommate of Pippa Middleton’s at Edinburgh university and also attended Pippa’s wedding with his then fiancé Celia Brook.

The duke's grandmother May Goelet was a wealthy American heiress and the niece of society hostess Grace Vanderbilt. Grace's husband Cornelius was the uncle of Gloria Vanderbilt and a first cousin of Consuelo Vanderbilt Duchess of Marlborough.

:previous: To add a bit more information, Cornelius Vanderbilt is also the great uncle of Anderson Cooper, CNN's anchorman. ?

Woah! You mean there's actually someone out there that has a golden toilet worth that amount of money?? Now that's what I call going in style but I imagine gold is just as cold on the bare bottom in the middle of the night in the dead of winter as any other toilet seat is. Or was the toilet seat mink?

If I understand it right, it was a piece of art called "America" - fully functional but not intended to be used...

Hmmm...

I could comment, but that would be tasteless as well.

While oddly functional, never meant to be used as such.

A unique solid gold toilet that was part of an art exhibit was stolen early Saturday from the magnificent home in England where British wartime leader Winston Churchill was born.

The toilet, valued at roughly £1 million pounds ($1.66 million Cdn), was the work of Italian artist Maurizio Cattelan.

The artwork, called America, had been installed only two days earlier at Blenheim Palace, west of London, after previously being shown to appreciative audiences at the Guggenheim Museum in New York.

Though the duke's brother did joke about not knowing who used the toilet last.

Viscountess Weymouth and the Tusk Conservation Awards, in London, on 21 November

https://www.rexfeatures.com/livefeed/2019/11/21/tusk_conservation_awards,_london?celeb=Emma Weymouth

The Viscountess does a lot of work with Tusk. She is heavily involved in Longleat (her husband's family estate) and their wildlife park. The park has a herd of southern white rhinos. Tusk and Longleat are both involved in a program trying to stop the extinction (only 3 left) of the Northern white rhino. Longleat has been supplying embryos from their herd for the research. Conservation in general is a passion for the Viscountess, but she is often seen at these events for Tusk to raise awareness for the white rhinos.

A new photo of the Duchess of Beaufort for Vogue:

La duchesse de Beaufort – Noblesse & Royautés

More about the article the photo was from

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/...-50-invites-horse-hounds-Badminton-House.html

There are actually three women with the title in one form or another:

-Her Grace The Duchess of Beaufort-who is featured in the article. The former Georgia Powell, wife of the 12th duke.

-Her Grace the Dowager Duchess of Beaufort- the former Miranda Morley. The widow of the 11th Duke. She is the stepmother of the current Duke (her husband's first wife and mother of his children died in 1995)

-Tracy, Duchess of Beaufort- ex-wife of the 12th duke. Mother of his three children. They divorced last year.

Remy is a very wealthy (keep calling him a billionaire but then say he is worth $200 million so who knows). He stepped down from his company in February but with a huge settlement. He is 17 years her senior.
