The Battenberg - Mountbattens

If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
Lady Tatiana is a very distant cousin to the queen and would be well known in equestrian circles.

Daughter of George Mountbatten, Marquess of Milford-Haven and his first wife Sarah Walker?

Yes. I believe she is a second cousin once removed to Prince Charles or, equivalently, a third cousin to Princes William and Harry.

On either her podcast or an article where she and Lady P had to go hunt down some of the family jewelry India mentions tiaras, how they were traditionally only worn by married women, and how that put her out of the running. I suppose it was tongue-in-cheek since unmarried women do sometimes wear them now. It does actually imply that there is something she could wear.

I can understand not wanting one for your wedding at the parish church, but it will be interesting if her position changes at all.

Here is India’s original commentary about the tiaras. https://www.instagram.com/p/BuFKUmr...d&ig_rid=a83ad483-4fb6-4a98-bc24-9a99ec1da47a

Alexander and Tatiana are even distantly related as both are descendants of John Stewart, Earl of Lennox (1495-1526).

She posted about this visit on her Instagrampage and took the followers with her in her stories.

It was also through Global Empowerment Mission and they brought relief supplies to the ukrainian border, as well as they helped in refugee camps.

Yes, and she also was the oldest sister of Alexandra, who was the last empress of Russia, and mother of Louise Mountbatten, the queen of Sweden. :flowers:

It's the Countess Mountbatten of Burmas 70th birthday today.

Only watched the first ten minutes or so thus far, but whomever they got to play Victoria Milford Haven was unexpected and exceptionally good, imho.
