Zara's hat is identical to Lady Gabriella's trooping the colour hat. They are both by Phillip Tracey only Ella's was silver (and had a less exagerated bow) and Zara's is leopard print but I like them both. I think the Royal ladies have all looked lovely except Princess Anne who IMO was just O.K and The Duchess of Gloucester who's outfit I think was dull and dowdy, really disappointing especially for Ascot.

The Duchess of Cornwall looks fab and I'm so happy to see her with the Queen. Now why isn't that photograph splashed across the front pages as proof of their friendship? Grrrr.
 
sophie and edward didn t attend today? i found no pics of them...
 
Isn't that photograph fabulous? If only the man next to the Queen was the Duke of Edinburgh it would be a perfect family shot.

Three bad Ascot for Sophie

Sophie had three bad years when it came to her outfits for Ascot, I hope next year will be better. Maybe she should have wore her hair up with those hat's:bang::eek::ohmy:

well yes thanks, but that s not what i meant, because the pics are from the 20th, (well, i believe getty), and i wrote it on the 21th, so i thought if they attended on the 21th =)

I love Princess Anne's turquoise (?) suit, but I do wish she wouldn't wear black shoes with almost everything. :cool:

Camilla's brooch is causing a lot of talk on various boards, but no-one seems to have any actual information - just a lot of theories, ranging from some old royal treasure not worn for years, to another Keppel piece that has been aquired for her. No-one has been able to offer any references for any picture of another royal lady ever wearing it.

It may be huge but it really is magnificent. I think we are all watching out for more information about it (even down to what the orange centre stone might be):flowers:

Personally I thought the outfit looked like a bag she could put hay for her horse in!!! :eek: Also she was not wearing tights. The whole thing looked very cheap IMO. :eek:
 
I've hardly ever seen Princess Anne as happy and cheerful as she is these days. :)

Thanks for the pictures from today GillW, I wish there was no rain and the people could enjoy the races (and hats) properly.

Dear wymanda,
It has been kind of you to comment on my personal (i.e., subjective) opinion. Moreover, I have not been able to determine whether Zara wears tights or not . However, I think that her hat and outfit do fit her personality. Once again, the above is MY PERSONAL OPINION.

When it comes to what we think of people's outfits, we're all giving our personal opinions, and we're not all going to agree. No big deal.
 
I am not trying to be mean or offensive so please don't take my opinion that way. I thought Camilla looked pretty good with the exception of her teeth. I have noticed this before in other pictures. I know she smokes and probably drinks dark liquids but can't she have something done to make them look better instead of the mess that they usually look like. I understand that she is a country woman who doesn't spend a lot of time or money on her self but she is the future wife of the Kind of England, can't she at least try to improve little things that she could do without much money or time. Please remember , this is my opinion about a certain aspect of her look, it is not intented to say anything about her person, as I don't know her. I will say that I think she makes the Prince very happy and he looks more relaxed.

Camilla is not the only royal whose teeth need an urgent makeover, just look at Queen Margrethe of Denmark :D
No idea why they don't go and see a specialist as they could easily afford it. Your teeth are kind of a businesscard if a main part of your job is to smile and the first impression puts you already off in this case.

It´s never a problem to say your opinion, it´s always okay!:flowers:

Maybe you can say i´m blind :cool:, but i´ve never noticed that Camilla teeth are in such a bad condition, and i´ve seen many pics...
( P.S. She was a heavy smoker for many years but quit nearly ten years ago:))
 
Camilla had a bleaching some years ago. Before it she really hadn´t nice teeth. But, now I think it is ok. It´s not the perfect super-smile, so what? Look at the other members of the BRF. Only human.

The 'problem' here is that a lot of the British don't like the super white denture look, it is seen as far too superficial. As long as they are clean and do the job they were designed for, it isn't important whether they are perfectly straight or super, super white! :flowers:
