No, I don't think so. Of course, people would expect William to marry first because he has been in a longer relationship than Harry but I don't believe the brothers feel that.

I don't think so in either direction In Belgium, Spain and Denmark the CP married last. In Norway and Sweden the Heir married first. And in the Netherlands Willem Alexander was the second to marry

And the Princess Royal also got married before her brother the Prince of Wales, in 1973.

So I suppose all speculation can end at this point regarding whether William will marry Kate!

Now we can speculate on who Prince Harry might marry. My guess is that's a long way off.

Well, William will marry Kate, but we can still speculate about who would have been a good wife to him too.
Of course, now this thread will be more about Harry.

This is ironic, since just recently I mentioned that I was more interested in hearing about potential wives for Harry, and now I've (sort of) got my wish!
I think Harry will wait a while to get married though, seeing as he and C Davy are still broken up. And now William will have the royal wedding sometime in 2011 which postpones any PH engagement, wouldn't you think?

In Belgium, the Heir was second to marry (in 1999, the last was the youngest of siblings, Prince Laurent, who wedded Claire in 2002, and the first was Princess Astrid)
The same situation was in Japan & Brunei.
As for Harry, preferred wife for him would be the woman he would love (and she him, of course)

Harry seems to me more funnier and more crazy than William. William is more mature and is ready to get married according to the yesterday's press. IMO Harry at first wants to get have fun, but who knows ... perhaps he simply hasn't find his Julia yet

I think we can finally take William's name out of this thread.

Maddie would never fit into the BRF. Even if she does come from royalty.

^ Really? How come? I mean she knows what's expected of her so I've always thought she'd be a great fit in the BRF even though I'm hoping Harry will meet Charlotte
And I know she has a boyfriend and a Catholic but it's wishful thinking.

The SRF is very very different to the BRF. For instance Madeleine has been away from Sweden and official duties for months. She couldn't do that if she was a member of the BRF. IMO she would find the whole thing too royal, strict and formal.

Also, barring a few exceptions, the SRF doesn't have to deal with anywhere NEAR the volume of paparazzi nonsense that the BRF does. There's a relaxed atmosphere to most other European royal houses that doesn't exist in England. I'm sure that Madeleine wouldn't collapse under the weight of it or anything, she's a strong woman, but it's a world totally removed from anything she's used to or accustomed to, even if she's a born royal like Harry.

She has a lot more freedom than those in the BRF. She pretty much comes and goes as she pleases, doesn't have someone telling her what to do all the time.

And then there was one.
As William has announced his engagement to Catherine, the time has come to close this thread, and start a new one that focus on Harry.
That thread can be found here http://www.theroyalforums.com/forums...rry-29281.html .
