Thank you. Interesting of course because the phrase " British Dominions beyond the seas" had been replaced with "other realms & territories", recognising the new political reality of separate crowns.

Lord Darnley's skull was stolen in 1668 when a mob broke into the Royal Vault in Holyrood Abbey and plundered yet again!!!

His father was Matthew Stewart, 4th Earl of Lennox,so one would assume he used Stewart.

Elizabeth of York,daughter of daughter,wife and mother of kings died at the Tower of London, London aged 37 ,her remains were buried at the Lady Chapel in Westminster Abbey.

February 12th,1554 ,The Execution of the Lady Jane Grey at the Tower of London.Following her execution,Lady Jane's remains were buried at Church of St Peter ad Vincula ,at the Tower of London.

Edward IV signed the Anglo-Scottish 'Treaty of Westminster' on February 13th,1462 ,the treaty was also signed by the Scottish John of Islay, Earl of Ross, Lord of the Isles.

Marguerite de France was the daughter of of Philippe III by his second wife Marie de Brabant and was married off to the 60 year old Edward I in 1299 .The marriage produced 2 surviving sons ,Thomas,Earl of Norfolk and Edmind,Earl of Kent.The Queen was widowed aged 26 she never remarried and died at Marlborough Castle, Wiltshire.The queen dowagers remains were buried at Christ Church Greyfriars in Newgate ,London however her tomb was lost during the Reformation and the medieval church was was destroyed by the Great Fire of London in 1666.

William is also the only king whose legitimate offspring (from remarriage after Mary's death) would not have been the direct heir to the throne.

I know King Stephen acknowledged Henry Plantagenet as his heir in England ahead of his own son but that was an attempt to bring peace after years of upheaval over a disputed succession.

And totally passed over the succession rights of his sole survivng son,William I, Count of Boulogne in favour of Henry ,Count of Anjou.
