What's nasty here? The arrangement I mentioned above?! Even working class people agree on some things before getting married - 'arrangement' has a broad meaning, you see. Personally, I'm truly fond of the Kents and I can't dare imagine them letting their children marry before 'exploring the ground'. Just like every normal and caring parent.

I reported this back in December, long before the British papers figured it out
Royal Musings: Will Sophie Winkleman make it on US TV

In the meantime, I’ll try to see the first episode online; this past week was so frenetic that I missed the broadcast.
It was truly pleasing to listen to an excerpt (courtesy of Dierna23) displaying Sophie’s mellifluous RP (Received Pronunciation); so pleasant to the ears.
It’s sad that the BBC has moved away from the plummy cut-glass speech towards the harsher, vaguer “estuary.”
I do hope for the best for “100 Questions…”
Still, there is good news involving Lord Freddie and “Lady Sophie.”
The Daily Telegraph avers that Freddie and Sophie may well stay longer in LA- it’s turning out to be somewhat felicitous after all: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/celebritynews/7783411/Sophie-Winkleman-finds-that-American-comedy-is-no-laughing-matter.html

Just because Michael and Marie-Christine are possible bankrupt, doesn't mean Frederik and Sophie are. Like I said they both work for themselves, I see no evidence that Freddie and Sophie are bankrupt.
That rumour died a long time ago.

You didn't get what I meant. I never speculated that Freddie and Sophie are bankrupt. All I see is that the Kents aren't out of the red, eh? So perhaps it's an arrangement - Winkleman has the money, Freddie the title. The Kents always need money and Winkleman will be perhaps a bit more interesting now that she is connected with the Windsors, no? Wherever I read her name nowadays the tabloids don't forget to add 'the wife of Lord Frederick Windsor, son of Prince Michael of Kent, a cousin of the Queen'.
And calm down, Angela. My granny was good friends with Princess Michael's mother. I don't mean mischief. I rather hope they married for love!

Never knew the Kents were in the red.
Also Freddie has worked as well, he has title and the money. It isn't a marriage of covenience just for the title and money.
Kents always need money for what?
Of course she is known as that, she has a title now Lady Frederick Windsor, Sophie never personally uses it but the papers do. Just because Frederick's father is the cousin of the Queen, doesn't mean that Sophie and Freddie are close to The Queen. She didn't even attend the wedding. Sophie is connected by marriage, but nothing else? I bet she hasn't even met her more than once, maybe twice.

Sophie doesn't need to drink tea with the Queen or Charles every afternoon. For those who see the BRF from a distance - people in the U.S.A. where she's trying to continue her career, for example - her title already indicates that she's part of the royal world. People get impressed. Period.

^^ It's meant to be an art film, yeah right... Wonder what her in-laws are thinking about that. I won't mention her husband, he's still in love with her, as far as I see... I so hope Fred will realize his mistake one day! Sooner or later, doesn't matter much.

Why should her husband leave her?The film wasn't some seedy porno it was actually directed by Mike Figgis who is an oscar winner and was made when she was already famous so it's not some embarrassing thing she did when she was very young. I suppose you think Dame Helen Mirren or Emma Thomson's husband's should leave them as well as they have also appeared topless in films.

Is this the same film that was talked about before their marriage?

Yes, it is. The movie is called "Love Live Long". If I remember right, she's even "masturbating" (not really of course) in that movie. It's quite a movie like many modern art films nowadays are.

Have I missed something? Is Sophie pregnant?

Thanks for an update!
The couple looked nice. Lord Frederic has got this "always tired look".

He always looks slightly ill. I think that he has naturally pale skin and a tendency to dark circles around his eyes. Perhaps there's someone in his family background who has those dark circles as well. We wouldn't notice so much with the women in his family, because they would wear concealer to cover it--if they had the problem with dark circles.

Yes, that's right. I know a guy who has exactly the same 'problem'. He hates it when photos are taken of him because in photographs the circles around his eyes are much more visible than in real and he looks more pale and ill in photos. I think it's the same with Freddie, I've seen footage in which he looked far more healthy and handsome. I wish he could do something to look more healthy as I always thought he's a very handsome/special guy otherwise.
Thanks for the pictures! They both look happy.

I don't think Sophie is pregnant, it's the style and cut of the coat that gives this impression. I think Fred looks very healthy in these photos. They both look good, thanks for sharing!
