The Rt Hon David Cameron (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of The Queen today.
The Queen held a Council at 12.20 pm.
There were present: the Rt Hon Nicholas Clegg (Lord President), the Rt Hon Vincent Cable (Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills), the Rt Hon William Hague (Leader of the House of Commons) and the Rt Hon Sajid Javid (Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport).
The Rt Hon David Evennett, the Baroness Garden of Frognal, the Rt Hon Sir Edward Garnier, the Rt Hon Dr Julian Lewis and the Baroness Northover were sworn in as members of Her Majesty’s Most Honourable Privy Council.
The Rt Hon Fiona Mactaggart made affirmation as a member of Her Majesty’s Most Honourable Privy Council.
Mr Richard Tilbrook was in attendance as Clerk of the Council.
The Rt Hon Nicholas Clegg had an audience of The Queen before the Council.

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Livability, this afternoon visited the Treetops Centre, 94 Victoria Gardens, Highwoods, Colchester, and was received by Mr Jonathon Douglas-Hughes (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Essex).
