The annual royals arriving at St Mary Magdalene Church at Sandringham wasn't the same without Her Majesty,The Queen.

Prince Philip only walked to church at the early service. He and Sophie were driven to the afternoon service.

I like that Sophie accompanied him to the later service in the car as she used to accompany the Queen.

There's also a cute little moment where Savannah is collecting flowers and she gives a bunch to James to hold. Savannah and James

Sweet moment. Not sure James was impressed at that age.

Posts about the Cambridges at church in Berkshire have been moved to the http://www.theroyalforums.com/forums...-37938-75.html thread, as the bulk of the discussion was taking place there already.

No, he probably wasn't! Are males impressed at any age if they have to carry bouquets of flowers about?

No red blooded male at Jame's age would be overly pleased at carrying a mess of posies around. Perhaps Savannah coddled him into it saying something like "We can take these home to Granny (or Gan Gan or whatever Savannah and James call the Queen). James, from what I see, handled the whole situation with grace and aplomb and that had to make his family proud. (flowers for James of course)

Does anyone know with whom Anne walked to early service? It's not Jack B. i-Images Picture Agency

I think it may be a member of the household, an equerry maybe? If you watch the video of them arriving he seems to hold back when they go in to church

I always look forward into seeing photos of the RF at Sandringham. It was nice to see Savannah and Isla attending this year, I wasn't expecting to see them. I wonder if this means they will be at Trooping the Colour next summer too. The photos and GIFs of James and Savannah with the flowers are super cute.
The family looked as if it was a bit empty without HM there though. I hope that she still managed to enjoy her Christmas, despite the fact that she was ill.

I don't believe Peter and Autumn typically attend the Trooping (although I might be wrong), so I'm not sure if we'll see their children there.

There are a few photos of them on the internet at Trooping the Colour, if you type in "peter and autumn phillips trooping the colour". But given that I just saw a few, they don't seem to be 'regulars' on the balcony but it is a little possible they could be there next year, though now after looking at their appearances I think there's only a small chance of that. It was just a small wonder though.
Apologies for going off-topic moderators!

I searched for it myself before posting - it looked to me like they only do it very sporadically. Last year's appearance and an appearance in 2008 were all I could find for Autumn, but I didn't look for too long.

Wouldn't the four of them being at Anmer Hall also be considered as being "at Sandringham" or is a reference to the "Big House"? Stay tuned to this thread to see what happens on Dec. 25th!

There's breaking news from KP that Meghan will be at Sandringham for Xmas and will be seen going to Church with the royals.

Yes, as Anmer Hall is on the Sandringham estate.

Well there’s a lovely surprise! A very good decision I think - though I never thought we’d see it.
