Enthronement Ceremony of Paduka Seri Sultan Nazrin Shah as the 35th Sultan of Perak
The Istiadat Tabal Adat for the Enthronement of Paduka Seri Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah Ibni Almarhum Sultan Azlan Muhibbudin Shah Al-Maghfurlah and Raja Permaisuri Perak Tuanku Zara Salim took place at the Throne Hall of Istana Iskandariah in Bukit Chandan, Kuala Kangsar, Perak this morning Wednesday 6 May 2015.
The Istiadat Tabal Adat is one of the several ceremonies that need to be completed for the Enthronement of the Sultan of Perak.

Some of the prominent Royal guests, Royal and non-royal representatives of Perak, Brunei and other Malaysian states who attended the Istiadat Tabal Adat this morning. This guestlist is simply from my observation from the live telecast. Hope anyone who knows more can add to the list.

Thank you for sharing all those links to pictures and videos Ephram. I watched parts of the enthronement ceremony online. This seems to have been a slightly less grand event than the coronation of the Sultan of Johor in March. I also noticed fewer royal guests (or at least I didn't see many of those who attended the Johor coronation). Both were very interesting to watch nonetheless.
I'm curious, what's the significance of the bathing ceremony? It seems to be a part of all such important events in Malaysia, including royal weddings.

The bathing ceremony is more of a cleansing ritual and according to elderly people to ward off evils. This ceremony is common not only in Perak but in all other Malay Royal Houses including in Johor whom the Coronation you saw last March.

This morning Paduka Seri Sultan and Raja Permaisuri visited three Royal mausoleums of his predecessors including the Mausoleums of Almarhum Sultan Mansur Shah (the 2nd Sultan of Perak), Almarhum Sultan Ali (the 24th Sultan of Perak) dan Sultan Yusof Sharifuddin (27th Sultan of Perak) in three different locations in Kuala Kangsar.

Later this afternoon 8 more Royal tombs of previous Sultans of Perak will be visited by Sultan Nazrin and Tuanku Zara at the Royal Mausoleum of Bukit Chandan in Kuala Kangsar including:-
1. Makam Sultan ke-26, Almarhum Sultan Abdullah Muhammad Shah II (1874-1876).
2. Makam Sultan ke-28, Almarhum Sultan Idris Murshidul'adzam Shah I (1887-1916).
3. Makam Sultan ke-29, Almarhum Sultan Sultan Abdul Jalil Karamatullah (1916-1918).
4. Makam Sultan ke-30, Almarhum Sultan Iskandar Shah (1918-1938).
5. Makam Sultan ke-31, Almarhum Sultan Abdul Aziz Almustasin Billah Shah (1938-1948).
6. Makam Sultan ke-32, Almarhum Sultan Yussuff Izuddin Shah (1948-1963).
7. Makam Sultan ke-33, Almarhum Sultan Idris Iskandar Al-Mutawakkil Allahi Shah II (1963-1984).
8. Makam Sultan ke-34, Almarhum Sultan Azlan Muhibbuddin Shah (1984-2014).
Tomorrow onwards even more Royal tombs will be visited. The Sultan and Raja Permaisuri will have to use a Royal water vessel known as Balai Gambang to navigate along the Perak River to visit many more tombs on the riverside.
