The “King’s Villa”, or “the Royal Lodge”, as it is called today, is the private property of the King and Queen. It is situated on Voksenkollen, a hill on the outskirts of Oslo. The lodge has mainly been used during the winter, the Royal Family celebrates Christmas here.

This Lodge is beautiful and has the perfect position at the Holmenkollen.
Traditionally, the King Harald and Queen Sonja stay in this Lodge during the yearly Holmenkollen FIS World Cup Nordic, which is this weekend. As they have Princess Beatrix as guests they probably stay there together.
