Article about the summer at Solliden at Ölandsmagazinet's summer issue.
At the article it is told that during the winter, the entrance building has been rebuilt. It has become more spacious and the palace's shop has been given more space. The stage adjacent to the entrance has also been modernized, there are thirteen concerts this summer.
Pernilla Klintbert, marketing director at Solliden, tells that they want to surprise visitors and bring novelties every season. Queen Victoria who had Solliden built in the early 20th century was a modern queen. They continue in her spirit and believe that she would have liked the modernization that Solliden is undergoing now.

A nice blog post about a visit to Solliden recently at a food blogger's blog. She visited Solliden with her family and tells that she visits Solliden almost every summer. She tells at her blog that they saw the royal family, they drove past in a car and waved to the children.

This year's artist in the English Park is Susanne Demåne with her exhibition Genesis, 12th May - 2nd October.
Susanne Demåne posted on Tuesday to her Instagrams, she is making a new permanent sculpture at Solliden during the summer:
"Solliden Palace Öland -Tomorrow Wednesday I continue working On the permanent sculpture in the park Ca4-5 m high Sooooo fun and exciting Feel free to come and see my exhibition Genesis in the English park and enjoy the surroundings with all the roses and formations"

Solliden's Garden Days

Welcome to participate in Solliden's Garden Days. In addition to being able to enjoy Solliden's fantastic castle park, you will get to meet several different companies, associations and profiles that offer lots of tips and inspiration for your garden. It is also possible to buy plants, pots, seeds etc. to take home with you. On the croquet court you can also see our Themed Garden Exhibition's greenhouses from Classicum, furnished by the profiles Ernst Kirchsteiger, Malin Björkholm, Paul Svensson and Kajsa Vildängen. Both Paul and Kajsa are on site at their greenhouses on Saturday.
Garden journalist Gunnel Carlsson is also on hand to give special walks in the park and artist Susanne Demåne shows her exhibition in English Park.

Traditional Harvest Festival at Solliden Palace on September 29-October 2.
Welcome to a lovely harvest festival in the palace park here at Solliden. There will be special guided tours, tractor tours, sale of fruit and vegetables from the park, autumn menu and freshly baked goods at Kaffetorpet and much more. It is also the last chance to see the season's three exhibitions.
On Friday and Saturday there is a special guided tours with artist Susanne Demåne, who shows and talks about her unique exhibition Genesis in the English Park.
On Saturday at 15.00 is the inauguration of Susanne Demåne's new permanent work in the English Park.

Solliden Sessions concerts at Solliden also in the summer 2023.
The hit concept Solliden Sessions returns in 2023 to our small stage right next to Kaffetorpet. Here we offer songs, jazz, pop and hits with some of Sweden's top artists. The concerts will be smaller and more intimate.
The first artists are now released. We will continuously update the list as soon as the artist and date are ready!

More concerts at Solliden Sessions in summer 2023

For the third year, "Solliden sessions" are organized at Solliden.
So far, 15 artists have been booked and a few more may be added.
- The royal family is very satisfied, both with the concerts and the reception. The family has visited several of the concerts and met the artists, says Solliden Palace's project manager Pernilla Klintberg in a press release.
- We would like to book some unique gems for the audience at Solliden's concerts. Gilbert O'Sullivan and King Carl XVI Gustaf are incidentally of the same golden year. I expect it to be a nice nostalgia concert that will make a memorable impression, says concert producer Patrik Krall.
According to Patrik Krall, the royal family has from the beginning been strongly involved in the musical performances at Solliden.
- If I were to come up with an artist that I know they have asked for, it is Niklas Strömstedt, reveals Patrik Krall.
