Princess Christina told at the documentary "Haga Palace - A Royal Home" about the big old grandfather clock at one of the rooms. It had belonged to her father, Victoria's grandfather. He had searched for that kind of clock. And when he saw this clock with the Coat of Arms of the House of Vasa, he had found his clock. The clock was at Haga until Princess Margaretha inherited the clock and took it to England to her first home. When she moved to a smaller house, the clock was put to a storage and was there for many years. When she heard that Victoria and Daniel are moving to Haga, she knew where the clock should be, here at Haga again and so princess Margaretha gave the clock to Victoria and Daniel as a wedding present.

Photos from Instagram of Håkan Groth, a swedish born antique dealer and expert, author and photographer.
The Queen's Pavilion at Haga built by Carl Christopher Gjörwell in 1802-05 for the children of Gustaf IV Adolph and Queen Fredrica. Called 'Haga slott' it is now the residence of Crown Princess Victoria, her husband Prince Daniel and their children. The present King of Sweden and his four sisters were born here.

The Ecco Temple at Haga in Stockholm. Built as a summer dining room for Gustaf III in 1790 by the young architect Carl Christopher Gjörwell (1766-1837). Gjörwell was then a pupil of the French architect Louis-Jean Desprez who at the time was visiting London.

Company Sweco from Gävle was denied by both The Swedish Transport Agency and the Administrative court of appeal in Linköping to make a flight with a droner near Haga Palace in Solna.
Sweco was commissioned to invent graves at the Jewish cemetery in Solna. In addition to this, they want to use the photos to see opportunities to increase the security of the cemetery because it is subject to vandalization. Flight height would be 100 meters and flight time approximately 20 minutes.
Since Crown Princess Victoria and her family live at Haga Palace, the no-fly zone is 1 kilometer from the Palace to protect them.
On the outskirts of the aviation area lies the burial site in Solna, of which the Jewish cemetery is a part.
The licensor is the Transport Agency which rejected with that the reasons stated were not sufficient to grant a flight dispensation. Sweco, together with the Jewish Assembly, decided to appeal the Transport Agency's decision to the Administrative Court of Appeal in Linköping.
The Administrative Court of Appeal agreed totally with The Transport Agency and considered that the reasons stated by Sweco and the Jewish Assembly were insufficient.

Svensk Damtidning has an article about Haga Palace. They write that the crown princess family lives here close to the nature, but also close to the city. When Victoria and Daniel moved to Haga Palace, princess Christina said that it is great to see the house she once lived, come back to life again. Although Christina doesn't remember her father, she has nice memories of the Palace and its surroundings, she says that they had a wonderful childhood there, their own world where they were happy.
In march 2011 the floors were renovated and the palace architect Jan-Erik Ellfolk told that the floors were so worn that in the dining room and library they had to lift the whole floors up and sent it to the workshop to be repaired.
Now it is time for Estelle and Oscar to find all the exciting nooks at the Palace when they are playing hide-and-seek. The park goes close to Brunnsviken, where they can swim in the summer and skate in the winter. Prince Daniel is often seen pulling Estelle at a sledge when there is snow and Victoria walks with Oscar.
Victoria and Daniel have chosen an classic and elegant style with a modern tough to Haga Palace: antiques, crystal chandeliers, golden mirrors, photo art and soft cushions. The simplistic grey couches with photo art on the walls show that there is a young couple living at the Palace. Victoria and Daniel think that home should be a place for both social life and cozy time with the family. The private kitchen is from Kvänum and prince Daniel is a modern father who does a lot of weekday cooking.
Svensk Damtidning also tells about the "secret room" at Haga Palace. During the renovation a building was made for the security centre, where the Security Service SÄPO monitors the area. There are some bedrooms and a living room for the polices. The centre has staff around the clock and TV-screens which show video from all the cameras which are placed around the Palace.

At the photos published on William and Kate's visit we can see a glimpse of Haga Palace, the Grand Room.
At this photo we see Karin Mamma Andersson's painting 'Svandamm/Swan Pond'.

The fireplace in the Grand Room features the coats of arms of the Bernadotte and Sachsen-Coburg-Gotha dynasties, since it was installed as part of the renovation work in the 1930s when Prince Gustaf Adolf and Princess Sibylla moved in.

There was a grass fire near Haga Palace on Saturday.
- We have a grass fire of approximately 1000 square meters. We have five forces in place to fight it. The alarm came at 12.45. It was a helicopter that called in, said Tommy Wållberg, management operator at the emergency service on Saturday.
The fire was soon caught under control.
- It's so dry now, it just burns, Daniel said to the press at Solliden on Victoria's celebration.

The Haga Palace décor is nice; very Scando looking! I also love the outdoor snow scene.
