The holiday villa 'Elephante Felice' in Porto Ercole of the late prince Bernhard and the late Queen Juliana looks rather empty. Magazine 'weekend' has sevberal pictures and although it is summer the villa looks rather desolate, the pool is empty and nobody has been seen.

The villa has been sold last year. According to the real estate company HM wanted a reliable buyer, 'Weekend' speculates that Mrs. Charlene de Carvalho-Heineken might have bought the villa.

The villa was totally demolished recently by the present owner of the property.End of an era indeed.

why he did something like that?

Because of a larger new house.EF wasn't all that big either...no-one had visioned the multitude of offspring at the time it was built....Even during the late Queen Juliana's days in EF it was impossible for the entire family to stay there all at the same time...:)
