The court about the World Water Week 2022
This week, the King and Victoria participated in World Water Week. During the week, experts, decision-makers and innovators from all over the world meet in Stockholm and digitally to discuss water issues.
On Tuesday morning, Victoria attended a high-level meeting on how to cooperate globally and prepare for the UN water conference in March 2023. On Tuesday evening, Victoria awarded the Stockholm Junior Water Prize, an international science prize aimed at young people between 15 and 20 years of age. Young people from over 40 countries participated in the competition.
On Wednesday morning, the King attended a seminar where this year's and previous year's recipients of the Stockholm Water Prize lectured together with other experts in water matters. In the evening, the King awarded the Stockholm Water Prize to this year's recipient, Professor Wilfried Brutsaert.

Naomi Park from USA receives the prestigious Stockholm Junior Water Prize 2023 for her research on the removal of carbon dioxide and oil products from the ocean. HRH Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden presented the winner with her award during a ceremony at World Water Week in Stockholm.
