I dont think the RF has bodyguards inside their own apartments, since the royal palaces have guards. But as soon as they leave their home they have bodyguards.
Crown princess Victoria has had bodyguards her whole life. When she was in school they would drive her there and follow her to her classroom and then they had a special room close to her classroom where they sat during her classes.
But at that time (80´s and 90´s), it was only the king, queen and Victoria who had bodyguards at all times. Carl Philip and Madeleine rarely had protection.
But I remember seeing that old lady, Ulla Gitta Kronberg is her name I think, with Madeleine at special occasions where she got alot of attention. Like when the school started and ended in the summer. But that was mostly to control the paparazzis
Nowadays when the world has changed all members of the rf have bodyguards.
The state/SÄPO pays for the protection of the king, queen and crownprincess. And sometimes when its necessary also for the prince and princess.
But when Carl Philip and Madeleine dont get SÄPO protection, they sometimes have guards from private secrurity companies.
