I have waited for so long to see Victoria with Aquamarine Kokoshnik, I knew that she would look gorgeous with it. And I hoped that she would wear it this year, because this has been "her big year", with her birthday celebrations. Great to see my dream came true!

I expect (and love) Madeleine with the aquamarine, but I don't mind Victoria wear it, it looks amazing on her.
(is sofia's wedding tiara in pearl setting? I am not sure)

It just occured to me that she has added a diamond riviere to the tiara base. Nice to see her playing around with the jewels.

The Laureate, professor Rainer Weiss said at his interview, that it was wonderful that at the Prize ceremony was played music by Amy Beach. Female composers are rare, and he never hears music from Amy Beach. And now when he came to Sweden, they play a composition of Amy Beach, it was fantastic. Rainer Weiss is also an amateur pianist.

Did Madeleine skip the banquet?
Good to see princess Christina! I hope she won't repeat this tiara as it doesn't work at all but it probably is a light-weight tiara, so that could be a good reason for this odd choice.

This is the first time I've noticed such an event. Is this usually held in private, or is it perhaps a new addition to the nobel festivities?
